As standard Spotter comes with the features as described below.
7.1. Automatic location display
Spotter is fitted with a motion sensor that detects the difference between motion and being stationary. When on the move location data is automatically
sent out every 60 seconds, which can immediately be viewed through your online account or via the Spotter app. When Spotter is not in motion location
data is sent out every 30 minutes. All locations can be seen for 24 hours, after which the data is deleted.
7.2. SOS alarm
Press and hold the SOS button on the front of Spotter for 3 seconds. An audio prompt will then sound and the green LED light will start to flash rapidly. The
connected user then receives an SOS message with the Spotter name and the location.
7.3. Start a telephone call
You can also call to Spotter, e.g. if the person is in an emergency situation or if you simply want to make contact. To do that, login to the Spotter app and
click on the telephone icon. An audio prompt sounds for two seconds on the Spotter, after which a telephone connection is automatically established. To
end the call the Spotter wearer must click on the telephone icon on the side of Spotter.
7.4. Setting a safety zone
Login to your online account and set zones within which the Spotter should remain. Simply draw a circle over an area to define the boundaries. As soon as a
location is received that falls outside of the zone you will immediate receive a notification.
Please note: make sure the Spotter has good GPS coverage (blue LED light flashes quickly) before setting the safety zone.
7.5. Messages/notifications
All messages sent from the Spotter such as location reports and notifications are received through the online account, by e-mail and via a push message
through the Spotter app.
7.6. Low battery
When the battery level falls below 15% a notification is sent out and the blue LED light starts to flash more rapidly.
