duringtheSetUpsequence.Youmaychoosetoadjustthisstridelength.Toobtain
yourpersonalizedmeasurement,seebelow.
1. Tondoutwhatyourstrideis,walkorrun10stepsandthenmeasurethedistance
withatapemeasurefromtherststep’stoetothe10thstep’stoe.
2. Divideyourtotaldistanceby10togetyouraveragestridelength.
3. Foraquickestimate,walk 3steps,measurethedistance,and divideby3.The
morestepsyoutake,themoreaccurateandrealisticyourstridewillbe.Anaverage
walkingstrideforafemaleis2feet(24in.),amaleis2.5feet(30in.).

Batteryreplacementwillberequiredfromtimetotime,andshouldoccurwhen:
1. Thedisplayfadesinpartorcompletely.
2. Theunitisnotfunctioningproperly.
TO REPLACE THE BATTERY:
1. Removethespring-loadedbeltcliponthebackoftheunittoexposethebattery
compartmentdoor.UnscrewthebatterycompartmentdoorwithasmallPhillips
screwdriver.
2. Removetheexhaustedbatteryfromtheunit,andinsertanewbattery(besureto
placethepositive(+)sideofthebatteryfacingup).
3. Replacethebatterycompartmentcoverandfastenwiththescrew.
4. Replacethespringclipbackintoposition.

UPLOADING ACTIVITY TRACKER DATA TO MAP MY FITNESS
1.OpentheMapMyWalk™applicationonyoursmartphoneortabletandnavigateto
theSYNCsection.
2. Adjust yoursmartphone/tabletvolume toits maximumlevel toensureoptimum
uploadingconditions.
3.FlipouttheaudiojackfromtheActivityTrackerandinsertitfullyintotheaudioport
ofyoursmartphoneortabletuntilitclicks.
4. PresstheMODEbuttononyourActivityTrackeruntiltheSYNCscreenisshown.
Aashinglinewillbeshownonthescreentoindicatethatitisreadytouploaddata.
5. Press the SYNC button on the MapMyWalk™ application and your data will be
uploaded.If theActivity Tracker doesnotsuccessfully uploadafter ashort period,
it will timeout,and defaultback tothe STEPSscreen.At thispoint,you willneed
tonavigatebacktotheSYNCscreenontheActivityTrackerandtryuploadingagain
throughtheapplication.
