7.6. CHANGING SUPPORT MODES ON THE REMOTE

A - TURBO BUTTON: Automatically changes to TURBO mode regardless of the mode the bicycle is in.
B - (+) BUTTON: Increases the amount of support.
C - (-) BUTTON: Decreases the amount of support.
D - WALK-ASSIST BUTTON: Pressing and holding activates the walk-assist mode. This provides motor assist up
to 6 km/h / 3.7 mph to help push the bicycle uphill when walking.
On the remote, after reaching the strongest or weakest mode, the system will not continue to switch. To reduce
from TURBO to SPORT to ECO to OFF, you have to press the - button. To increase from OFF to ECO to SPORT
to TURBO, you have to press the + button.
7.7. CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS
The motor support system provides a high degree of interface flexibility, through Bluetooth and/or ANT+
connectivity. Depending on the device and the connectivity option, a variety of features can be accessed.
BLUETOOTH LOW ENERGY (BLE): The Mission Control App (iOS or Android) provides an enhanced ride
experience by recording rides while syncing with Strava, eliminating “range anxiety” with the Smart Control
function, and system diagnostics. Android and iOS devices can sync to all TURBO SL bicycles via BLE. Visit
Google Play or the Apple App Store for the latest version of the free Mission Control App. All Mission Control
functionality instructions can be found within the App itself.
ANT+: The ANT+ Protocol allows a range of devices to sync with the VADO SL, including the TCD display
(available separately). Using an ANT+ compatible device provides access to more information like speed,
cadence and power.
The “Fake Channel” option displays the battery state of charge on any ANT+ cycling device that has an unused
Power, Heart rate, or Cadence channel. The Mission Control App must be used to select this option.

  • I have a VADO SL 4.0, I am seeing a flashing message on the computer screen that says
    "LO ERT" does anyone know what that means? Submitted on 14-8-2022 at 03:28

  • I live in AZ and I'm concerned about the summer heat in the garage and how it might effect the battery since the battery is not removable. Storing the bike is not an option, unfortunately. Submitted on 19-4-2022 at 18:59

  • Chain comes off gear hub when shifting gear to highest. There does not seem to be resistance to this Submitted on 9-3-2022 at 18:04
