7. FOUTEN OPLOSSEN

De onderstaande problemen met uw kachel kunt u zelf verhelpen. Voor

andere problemen neemt u contact op met uw speciaalzaak resp. kachelfa-

brikant of installateur.

7.1 FLINKE, SNELLE EN ONGELIJKMATIGE ROETVOR-

MING OP HET GLAS

Wanneer dit niet vanaf het begin het geval was, dient u de volgende

punten te controleren:

• Hebt u de juiste brandstoffen en techniek gebruikt? (zie '5. Brandstof'

op pagina 27)

• Geen overgangsperiode? (zie '4.5 Verwarmen in de overgangstijd/

Ongunstige Weersomstandigheden' op pagina 27)

• Geen slechte weersomstandigheden? (zie 4'4.5 Verwarmen in de over-

gangstijd/Ongunstige Weersomstandigheden' op pagina 27)

• Verbrandingsluchtregelaar staat volledig open (stelhendel volledig uit-

getrokken)? (zie '4.1.1 Regeling Verbrandingslucht' op pagina 24)

• Externe verbrandingsluchtleiding vrij? (zie '2.2.2.2 Afzonderlijke Ver-

brandingsluchttoevoer' op pagina 9)

• Treedt de roetvorming snel binnen een halfuur op? (Een geleidelijke

vervuiling door het gebruik van de kachel is normaal. Een autoruit wordt

tijdens het rijden ook vies!)

• Zit de afdichting correct op zijn plek?

• Is het hout droog genoeg? (zie '5. Brandstof' op pagina 27)

• Is voldoende hout geplaatst? (Door te kleine houthoeveelheden ontstaan

onvoldoende hoge temperaturen in de oven). (zie '4.2 Aanmaken / Bran-

den' op pagina 24)

7.2 VUUR KAN MOEILIJK WORDEN AANGEMAAKT

Wanneer dit niet vanaf het begin het geval was, dient u de volgende

punten te controleren:

• Hebt u de juiste brandstoffen en techniek gebruikt? (zie '5. Brandstof'

op pagina 27)

• Is het hout droog genoeg? (zie '5. Brandstof' op pagina 27)

• Is het hout te dik? (zie '5. Brandstof' op pagina 27)

• Is de luchttoevoer voldoende gegarandeerd? (zie '4.1.1 Regeling Ver-

brandingslucht' op pagina 24)

• Geen overgangsperiode? (zie '4.5 Verwarmen in de overgangstijd/

Ongunstige Weersomstandigheden' op pagina 27)

• Geen slechte weersomstandigheden? (zie '4.5 Verwarmen in de over-

gangstijd/Ongunstige Weersomstandigheden' op pagina 27)

• Verbrandingsluchtregeling volledig geopend? (zie '4.1.1 Regeling Ver-

brandingslucht' op pagina 24)

• Externe verbrandingsluchtleiding vrij? (zie '2.2.2.2 Afzonderlijke Ver-

brandingsluchttoevoer' op pagina 9)

7.3 ER ONTSNAPT ROOK TIJDENS HET BIJLEGGEN

VAN HOUT

• Zie alle vragen onder punt 7.1

• Is het rookkanaal vrij?

• Heeft uw kachel al de bedrijfstemperatuur bereikt?

• Hebt u de deur aanvankelijk langzaam geopend? (zie '4.2 Aanmaken /

Branden' op pagina 24)

7.4 HOUT VERBRANDT TE SNEL / HOUTVERBRUIK TE HOOG

Wanneer dit niet vanaf het begin het geval was, dient u de volgende

punten te controleren:

• Is het hout voldoende gekloofd? (zie '5. Brandstof' op pagina 27)

• Trekt de schoorsteen niet te sterk?

• Hebt u de verbrandingsluchtregeling gereduceerd (stelhendel iets inge-

schoven)? (zie '4.1.1 Regeling Verbrandingslucht' op pagina 24)

• Gebruikt u hardhout met een restvochtgehalte van 15 – 18 %? (zie '5.

Brandstof' op pagina 27)
