3. Instructions
Follow the instructions below to cycle with Heart Rate Support
1.
Put the band around your chest under your clothing, with the logo to the
outside and positioned over your sternum. Adjust the length of the band so
that it fits well – neither too loose nor too tight.
NB: It is important to get optimum contact between your skin and the
sensors. Every time you use the band, you should therefore slightly
moisten the sensors (the two rectangular, ribbed zones on the back of
the transmitter). A hairy chest can disrupt the contact.
2.
After about 5 seconds, your current heart rate will appear on the display as
long as you are within a radius of half a metre (approx. 20”) from the
handlebar (the receiver). Your current heart rate will be shown under Display
Options. Press the MODE button until “Current Heart Rate” appears on the
display.
3. You can change the heart rate settings in the display menu.
To go to the display menu, press the MODE button for at least two seconds.
Then select “Functions” followed by “Heartbeat” using the arrow buttons.
Confirm your selections using the red ENTER button.
You now have the following options:
