About the Rechargeable Battery
Rechargeable Battery Pack
Your portable player comes with a lithium ion rechargeable battery that attaches to the
rear of the player. Charge the battery fully before initial use. Charging time is normally
about 5 hours and the charge time had better not be more than 8 hours. A fully charged
battery delivers about 3 hours of use, but playing time varies from disc to disc. If the
battery will not be used for a long period of time, detach the battery.
Working conditions and precautions of the battery
1. New batteries should be fully charged before initial use.
2. Battery should only be used and charged when temperatures are between 32-
100F.
3. Never put the battery in fire or water.
4. Do not expose the battery to high temperatures or store in hot, sunny places.
5. Maintain well-ventilated conditions around the product to avoid overheating. Don’t
put the product on bed, sofa or any places that may block ventilation of the
product.
6. Do not short the battery terminals.
7. Do not open the battery.
8. Detach the battery after charging is complete. When charging the battery pack,
the charge light will turn red. When the charging is complete, the light will turn
green.
9. Detach the battery when not in use.
10. When the charge of the battery is weak, low power mark will appear on the LCD
screen. The player will turn off automatically some time later.
Attention: If you connect the battery with wrong polarities, the self-protecting function
of the battery will lock it so as to avoid the damage to it. If this happens,
connect the adapter to disable the self-protection function.
