Opmerkingen bij het gebruik van de Wi-Fi-functie
In sommige landen of gebieden is het gebruik van Wi-Fi-apparaten bij wet verboden.
Wi-Fi-apparatuur werkt in de 2,4 GHz-band die ook door andere apparatuur wordt gebruikt. Wi-Fi-apparatuur
maakt daarom gebruik van technologie die radiostoring van andere apparatuur in dezelfde band minimaliseert.
Toch kan radiostoring gegevensoverdracht vertragen, het communicatiebereik beperken of de communicatie
verstoren.
Als zowel de Bluetooth-functie als de 2,4 GHz Wi-Fi-functie van uw tablet zijn ingeschakeld, kan er storing
optreden die de gegevensoverdracht vertraagt of andere problemen geeft.
Om mobiel te communiceren via Wi-Fi, moet er eventueel een contract worden afgesloten met een Wi-Fi
serviceprovider.
Transmissiesnelheid en communicatiebereik variëren afhankelijk van de volgende omstandigheden:
Afstand tussen apparaten
Aanwezigheid van obstakels tussen apparaten
Configuratie van apparaten
Signaalcondities
Omgeving (muren, enz.)
Gebruikte software
Verstoring van de communicatie kan bij sommige signaalcondities optreden.
De vermelde transmissiesnelheid in de specificaties is het theoretische maximum en kan in de praktijk lager
liggen.
De effectieve transmissiesnelheid kan lager liggen dan de snelheid die wordt aangegeven op uw tablet.
Er kan niet worden gecommuniceerd tussen de 2,4 GHz en 5 GHz Wi-Fi-frequentiebanden.
De transmissiesnelheid voor IEEE 802.11g en IEEE 802.11n (2,4 GHz) apparatuur wordt mogelijk beïnvloed
door storing bij gebruik van die protocollen met IEEE 802.11b-producten. Producten die gebruik maken van
IEEE 802.11g en IEEE 802.11n verlagen ook automatisch de transmissiesnelheid om compatibel te zijn met
IEEE 802.11b-producten.
Wanneer de transmissiesnelheid lager is dan verwacht, kunt u die verhogen door het draadloze kanaal op de
Wi-Fi-router te veranderen.
Gebruik Wi-Fi binnenshuis alleen met IEEE 802.11a/n (5 GHz).
