Als u de functie voor vingerafdrukverificatie wilt gebruiken in plaats van het invoeren van een wachtwoord om u aan te melden
bij het systeem, moet u het wachtwoord voor inschakelen, de harde schijf en Windows instellen en de computer configureren
voor vingerafdrukverificatie.

*Het wachtwoord voor de vaste schijf is niet beschikbaar op modellen met twee ingebouwde flashopslagapparaten met RAID-configuratie. Zie de online specificaties voor
informatie over de configuratie van uw opslagapparaat.

Aanmelden bij Windows
Als u uw vingerafdrukken hebt geregistreerd voor uw gebruikersaccounts, kunt u in plaats van het wachtwoord
vingerafdrukverificatie gebruiken om u bij Windows aan te melden. U meldt zich aan bij Windows door met de
geregistreerde vinger over de sensor te bewegen wanneer het aanmeldingsvenster van Windows wordt weergegeven.
De functie Power-on Security
Als u het opstartwachtwoord (pagina 116) en/of het wachtwoord voor de vaste schijf (pagina 121) hebt ingesteld, kunt u in
plaats van het wachtwoord vingerafdrukverificatie gebruiken als u de computer inschakelt.
