De VAIO-computer gebruiken
Een Memory Stick formatteren
De Memory Stick is met de standaard fabrieksinstelling geformatteerd en is gereed voor gebruik.
Als u de Memory Stick met uw computer opnieuw wilt formatteren, voert u de volgende stappen uit.

Gebruik een apparaat dat geschikt is voor het formatteren van media en Memory Sticks ondersteunt om de Memory Stick te formatteren.
Het formatteren van de Memory Stick-media wist alle gegevens op de media. Voorkom dat waardevolle gegevens worden gewist.
Verwijder de Memory Stick-media uit de sleuf terwijl u de media formatteert. Dit kan een defect veroorzaken.
1 Schuif de Memory Stick voorzichtig in de sleuf tot deze vastklikt.
2 Klik op Start en vervolgens op Computer om het venster Computer te openen.
3 Rechtsklik op het pictogram van de Memory Stick-media en selecteer Formatteren.
4 Klik op Restore device defaults (Standaardwaarden apparaat herstellen).

De grootte van de toewijzingseenheid en het bestandssysteem kan veranderen.
Selecteer niet NTFS in de vervolgkeuzelijst Bestandssysteem.

Het formatteringsproces wordt sneller uitgevoerd als u Snelformatteren in Opties voor formatteren selecteert.
5 Klik op Start.
6 Klik op OK wanneer u om bevestiging wordt gevraagd.
Het formatteringsproces begint.

Het hangt van de media af hoe lang het duurt om de Memory Stick te formatteren.
7 Als u klaar bent, klikt u op OK.
8 Klik op Sluiten.
