SMARTLINK
SONY levert de best mogelijke verbinding tussen
de recorder en andere Home Entertainment-
apparatuur. De recorder wordt via SMARTLINK
aangestuurd door externe apparaten (bijv.
ontvangers en TV’s) en wordt automatisch op de
juiste systeeminstellingen ingesteld.
Follow TV
Met deze functie kunt u de kanalen van de televisie
en de recorder met elkaar laten overeenkomen.
Automatic Satellite Recording
(Automatische satellietopname)
Met deze functie kunt u een programma opnemen
vanaf de satellietontvanger of een ander apparaat.
Zorg dat het apparaat is aangesloten op de
LINE 3/DECODER-aansluiting van de recorder.
De timer dient op het aangesloten apparaat te
worden ingesteld.
TV Direct Record
(Direct opnemen vanaf de TV)
Met deze functie kunt u een TV-programma direct
opnemen zonder de recorder op hetzelfde
programma af te stemmen.
‘Live Cache’ (rechtstreekse programma’s regelen)
Wanneer u de recorder inschakelt, wordt het op het
televisiescherm weergegeven programma
opgeslagen in de ‘Live Cache’ ofwel tijdbuffer.
Deze buffer fungeert als tijdelijk HDD-geheugen
voor uw opnamen. Na 6 uur of wanneer u de
recorder uitschakelt, wordt de inhoud automatisch
verwijderd. Wilt u de inhoud permanent op de
harde schijf opslaan, markeer dan het gewenste
gedeelte in de ‘Live Cache’, zodat het niet
automatisch wordt verwijderd.
Chasing Playback (de opname van een programma
bekijken terwijl het nog wordt opgenomen
)
U kunt een TV-programma bekijken of
terugspoelen terwijl het nog wordt opgenomen. U
hoeft niet te wachten totdat het volledig is
opgenomen. U kunt ook een programma vanaf de
harde schijf bekijken terwijl deze schijf een ander
programma opneemt.

Pausing a TV Broadcast
(Een TV-uitzending onderbreken)
U hebt nu de controle over een rechtstreekse
televisie-uitzending. U kunt het TV-programma
pauzeren door op PAUSE te drukken. Druk op
PLAY om het afspelen te hervatten bij de
onderbroken scène. Druk gewoon op TUNER om
het rechtstreekse programma weer te bekijken.
i.LINK word ook wel ‘FireWire’ of ‘IEEE 1394’
genoemd. Deze aansluiting wordt gebruikt voor de
overdracht van digitale signalen met een hoge
bandbreedte, zoals bij DV-camcorders (Digital
Video). Alle audio- en videosignalen worden via
één kabel overgebracht.
Dit is een eenvoudig programmeringssysteem voor
recorders. U hoeft alleen het programmanummer
van het TV-programma in te voeren. Dit nummer
staat in uw omroepgids.
GUIDE Plus+ is een elektronische programmagids.
U kunt het systeem gebruiken om opnamen te
programmeren en de inhoud van verwachte TV-
programma’s te raadplegen of om de kanalen te
wijzigen van een externe ontvanger/kabelbox met
de afstandsbediening van de recorder.
