Hoe met de harde schijf omgaan
De harde schijf heeft een hoge opslagdichtheid en kan in hoog tempo gegevens lezen of schrijven. De vaste schijf is echter ook
kwetsbaar voor mechanische trillingen, schokken en stof.
Hoewel de harde schijf is voorzien van een ingebouwde beveiliging tegen het verlies van gegevens door trillingen, schokken of stof,
is het toch belangrijk dat u de computer voorzichtig behandelt.
Om beschadiging van de harde schijf te vermijden:
❑ Stel de computer nooit bloot aan plotselinge bewegingen.
❑ Plaats de computer nooit in de buurt van een magneet.
❑ Plaats de computer niet op een plaats die blootstaat aan mechanische trillingen of die niet stabiel is.
❑ Verplaats de computer niet terwijl de stroom is ingeschakeld.
❑ Schakel de stroom niet uit of start de computer niet opnieuw op terwijl gegevens worden gelezen of geschreven.
❑ Gebruik de computer niet op een plaats die blootstaat aan extreme temperatuurschommelingen.
❑ Verplaats uw computer niet terwijl het systeem zich in Standby-modus bevindt.
✍ Als de harde schijf beschadigd is, kunnen de gegevens niet worden hersteld.
Hoe met het LCD-scherm omgaan
❑ Stel het LCD-scherm niet bloot aan direct zonlicht omdat het scherm hierdoor kan worden beschadigd. Wees voorzichtig als u
de computer gebruikt in de nabijheid van een venster.
❑ Kras niet over het LCD-scherm en oefen er geen druk op uit. Dit kan een defect veroorzaken.
❑ Als u de computer gebruikt bij een lage omgevingstemperatuur, kan het beeld op het scherm wat blijven hangen. Dit is geen
defect. Als de computer terug op normale temperatuur komt, doet dit probleem zich niet meer voor.
❑ Het beeld op het scherm kan enigszins blijven hangen als hetzelfde beeld geruime tijd wordt weergegeven. Na enige tijd verdwijnt
dit 'beeldrestant'. U kunt een schermbeveiliging gebruiken om te vermijden dat het beeld inbrandt in het scherm.
