❑ Gebruik alleen de aanbevolen randapparaten en interfacekabels, anders kunnen zich problemen
voordoen.
❑ Gebruik geen beschadigde aansluitkabels.
❑ U kunt de notebook niet aansluiten op een telefoontoestel dat met munten werkt. Mogelijk werkt uw
notebook niet met een huistelefooncentrale (PBX).
❑ Als u de notebook direct verplaatst van een koude naar een warme plaats, kan vocht condenseren in de
notebook. Wacht in dit geval minstens 1 uur vóór u de notebook inschakelt. Als zich een probleem
voordoet, trekt u de stekker van de netadapter uit de notebook en contacteert u VAIO-Link.
❑ Trek de netstekker uit het stopcontact vóór u de notebook reinigt.
❑ Maak geregeld een reservekopie van uw gegevens om te vermijden dat u belangrijke gegevens zou
verliezen als uw notebook beschadigd raakt. Herstel de oorspronkelijke toepassingen met behulp van
de herstel-CD-ROM.
Behandeling van diskettes
❑ Open het schuifje van de diskette niet handmatig en raak het oppervlak van de diskette niet aan.
❑ Leg diskettes nooit in de buurt van een magneet.
❑ Leg diskettes nooit in direct zonlicht of in de nabijheid van een warmtebron.
Behandeling van CD-ROM's
❑ Raak het oppervlak van een CD nooit aan.
❑ Laat een CD nooit vallen en buig een CD niet.
❑ Vingerafdrukken en stof op het oppervlak van een CD kunnen leesfouten
veroorzaken. Houd een CD altijd vast met één vinger in de middelste opening en
een andere vinger aan de rand, zoals afgebeeld:
