Using MENU Functions
Clock/Timers
“Sleep Timer”: Set the time in minutes (“Off”, “15”, “30”, “45”, “60”, “90”, or
“120”) that you would like the TV to remain on before shutting off
automatically.
“On Timer”: Turns on the TV from standby mode at a time you set, and
tuned to a channel or input of your preference or photo frame mode. Before
setting this function, make sure you set the correct current Time.
“Clock Set”: The current time is set automatically if the TV receives the time
from a digital broadcast signal. If the current time fails to be received from
a digital broadcast signal, you can set the current time manually. Select
“Date” to set the date, then select “Time” to set the time.

This TV does not have a battery powered backup for the clock. Therefore, if there
is a power failure or if you disconnect the power cord, be sure to reset the current
date and time.
Auto Start-up
Starts the initial set-up to select the language, country/region and location,
and tune in all available digital and analogue channels. Usually, you do not
need to do this operation because the language and country/region will
have been selected and channels already tuned when the TV was first
installed. However, this option allows you to repeat the process (e.g., to
retune the TV after moving house).
Language
Selects the language in which the menus are displayed.
Start-up Logo
Select “On” to display the logo when the TV is turned on. Select “Off” to
disable it.
AV Set-up
“AV-Preset”
Assigns a name to any equipment connected to the side and rear sockets.
The name will be displayed briefly on the screen when the equipment is
selected.

F/f to select the desired input source, then press .
2 Press F/f to select the desired option below, then press .
AV1 (or HDMI1/HDMI2/Component/PC), CABLE, SAT, VCR, DVD/BD, HOME
THEATRE, GAME, CAM, DIGITAL CAMERA, PC: Uses one of the preset
labels to assign a name to connected equipment.
“Edit”: Creates your own label.
1 Press F/f to select the desired letter or number (“_” for a blank
space), then press
g.
If you input a wrong character
Press G/g to select the wrong character. Then, press F/f to select the
correct character.
2 Repeat the procedure in step 1 until the name is completed, then
press .
“AV2/Component Input”
Switches between Component input and AV2 input. If you select “Auto”, the
TV detects the terminal connection signal and switches to either Component
or AV2.

You cannot use Component and AV2 at the same time.
“Headphone/Audio Out”
Sets the sound output to headphones or external audio system connected
to the TV. Disconnect headphones from the TV when you select “Audio Out”.
