Open de lensklep. Haal de hendel voor de lensklep omhoog. Deze zit linksvoor op de
zijkant van de camera.
Check op het LCD-scherm/viewfinder of er linksboven in de hoek "HDV1080i" staat.
Zo niet, reset dan de camera.
Check of het beeld scherp is op de viewfinder. Zo niet, check dan of de 'AUTO
FOCUS' aan staat. Het paneel waar dit kan worden ingesteld bevindt zich links
achterop de camera. Het schuifje hoort helemaal omhoog te staan ('AUTO LOCK'). Zie
plaatje hierboven.
Check of het geluid goed binnen komt door rechtsonder op het LCD-
scherm/viewfinder te kijken of de 2 volumebalkjes uitslaan en er geluid te horen is. De
geluidsbalkjes horen bij het maximale geluidsniveau tot 2/3 streepjes van de maximum
uit te slaan en nooit in het rood te gaan. Wel balkjes, geen geluid? Zet het volume
harder door op de '+' van de volumeknop te drukken, deze bevindt zich achter het
gesloten LCD-schermpje. Zo niet, check dan of de audiokabels correct zijn
aangesloten en de audio-instellingen goed staan (zie eerder). Nog steeds geen
geluid? Koppel dan de XLR's los en reset de camera. Sluit de audio-apparatuur pas
weer aan als de fantoomvoeding eerst is uitgezet.
