192 Aan de slag met Internet en Berichten

Het dialoogvenster heeft vier tabs, voor ieder type
berichtenservice één:
WAP-accounts instellen
Een WAP-account (ook wel WAP-profiel genoemd) geeft aan
welke serviceprovider en gateway moeten worden gebruikt voor
een verbinding met WAP-diensten. U hebt eveneens een WAP-
account nodig wanneer u gebruikmaakt van MMS-berichten
(Multimedia Messaging Service).
De WAP-gateway bevindt zich tussen de P910i en de coderings-
en decoderingsinformatie van de WAP-site. Desgewenst kunt u
gegevens voor meer dan één gateway instellen, bijvoorbeeld één
gateway voor MMS-berichtenservice, een tweede gateway voor
toegang tot bedrijfsgegevens via WAP en een derde voor
toegang tot de WAP-dienst van uw bank.
E-mail
Uw e-mailserviceprovider of de manager van de
informatiediensten op uw werkplek in het geval van een
bedrijfsaccount, kan u de benodigde informatie
verstrekken.
U vindt een beschrijving van alle instellingen in ‘Het
tabblad E-mail’ op pagina 177.
Voor het instellen van een nieuwe account volgt u de
stappen bij ‘Een nieuwe e-mailaccount maken’ op
pagina 177.
SMS-
bericht
Short Message Service
De benodigde instellingen staan op de SIM-kaart.
U vindt een beschrijving van alle instellingen in ‘Het
tabblad SMS’ op pagina 179.
MMS-
bericht
Multimedia Messaging Service
Uw MMS-berichtenserviceprovider kan u de benodigde
informatie verstrekken.
Voordat u MMS-berichtenservice kunt instellen, moet u
een internetaccount instellen in
Configuratiescherm >
Verbindingen > Internet-accounts
en een WAP-account
opgeven in
Configuratiescherm > Verbindingen > WAP-
accounts.

MMS’ op pagina 179.
Lokaal
Cell broadcast en celinformatie
U kunt bij uw netwerkoperator nagaan of deze diensten
beschikbaar zijn.
