WAP-profiel
De WAP-instellingen worden opgeslagen in een
WAP-profiel. In de meeste gevallen hoeft u slechts
één profiel te gebruiken voor toegang tot internet.
U stelt extra WAP-profielen in en gebruikt deze
bijvoorbeeld voor toegang tot beveiligde
internetsites, zoals de site van een bank of een
bedrijfsintranet. Vervolgens schakelt u eenvoudig
tussen profielen wanneer u de netwerkverbinding
moet wijzigen. Zie ‘Instellen met de wizard’
op pagina 66 voor meer informatie.
Data-account
U kunt meerdere data-accounts in uw telefoon
definiëren, met verschillende instellingen voor
diverse doeleinden. De belangrijkste instelling voor
een data-account is de verbindingsmethode.
U kunt instellingen voor data-accounts opgeven
met de wizard. Zie ‘Instellen met de wizard’
op pagina 66 voor meer informatie.
U kunt kiezen uit de accounttypen GSM-data
of GPRS-data.
Opmerking: neem contact op met uw
netwerkoperator voor informatie over de kosten.
GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) geeft toegang
zodat u altijd on line kunt zijn.
Opmerking: u hebt een abonnement nodig dat
GPRS ondersteunt.
Beschikbare GPRS-instellingen:
• APN-adres (adres van de Access point-naam) –
dit is het adres van het externe datanetwerk
waarmee u een verbinding wilt maken,
in de vormvan een IP-adres of een tekenreeks.
• De gebruikers-id waarmee u zich bij het externe
datanetwerk aanmeldt.
• Het wachtwoord waarmee u zich bij het externe
datanetwerk aanmeldt.
• Wachtwoord? – als deze instelling actief is, moet
u telkens wanneer u zich bij het externe
datanetwerk aanmeldt uw wachtwoord invoeren.
• Voorkeursservice – selecteer Automatisch als u
inkomende berichten wilt kunnen aannemen
