Types of trouble and how to correct trouble
Symptom Cause and/or Corrective Actions
The LCD panel is open.
c Close the LCD panel (p. 40).
• The contrast between the subject and background is too high.

• If 10 minutes elapse after you set the POWER switch to

c Insert a cassette or a “Memory Stick” and the demonstration
stops.
You can also cancel DEMO MODE (p. 278).
The backlight is active.

BEEP is set to OFF in the menu settings.

Set the STEADYSHOT in the menu settings to OFF (p. 272).
