Reinigen van de videokoppen
Maak de videokoppen regelmatig schoon, om te
zorgen dat het beeld storingsvrij blijft en dat het
opnemen goed verloopt. Waarschijnlijk zijn de
koppen vuil, wanneer:
•er een mozaïekpatroon in het weergegeven
beeld verschijnt;
•de weergegeven beelden niet bewegen;
•er helemaal geen beeld meer verschijnt;
•de x indicator en de mededeling “
CLEANING CASSETTE” beurtelings
verschijnen, of de x indicator knippert op het
scherm.
Als een van de bovenstaande problemen of de
storing van [a], [b] of [c] zich voordoet, maakt u
de videokoppen 10 seconden lang schoon met
een Sony DVM-12CLD videokoppen-
reinigingscassette (los verkrijgbaar). Controleer
de beelden en als er nog steeds problemen zijn,
reinig de koppen dan nogmaals.
Als de videokoppen nog vuiler worden, wordt
het hele scherm blauw [c].
Schoonmaken van het LCD scherm
Als het LCD scherm vuil is, door vettig stof of
vingerafdrukken, kunt u het schoonmaken met
een speciale LCD reinigingsset (niet bijgeleverd).
De ingebouwde oplaadbare
batterij in uw camcorder
opladen
Uw camcorder wordt geleverd met een
ingebouwde oplaadbare batterij die zorgt dat de
gegevens als datum en tijd e.d. bewaard blijven,
ongeacht de stand van de POWER schakelaar.
Zolang u de camcorder blijft gebruiken, wordt de
oplaadbare batterij steeds automatisch
opgeladen. Wanneer u de camcorder echter
geruime tijd niet gebruikt, zal de batterij
geleidelijk leeg raken. Als u de camcorder
helemaal niet gebruikt, zal de batterij na
ongeveer 4 maanden geheel leeg zijn. De werking
van de camcorder wordt daar verder niet door
verstoord. Maar om de gegevens als datum en
tijd e.d. in stand te houden, zult u de lege batterij
opnieuw moeten opladen, op een van de
volgende twee manieren.

Cleaning the video head
To ensure normal recording and clear pictures,
clean the video heads. The video head may be
dirty when:
•mosaic-pattern noise appears on the playback
picture.
•playback pictures do not move.
•playback pictures do not appear.
•the x indicator and “ CLEANING
CASSETTE” message appear one after another
or the x indicator flashes on the screen.
If the above problem, [a], [b] or [c] occurs, clean
the video heads for 10 seconds with the Sony
DVM-12CLD cleaning cassette (optional). Check
the picture and if the above problem persists,
repeat cleaning.
If the video heads gets dirtier, the entire screen
becomes blue [c].
Cleaning the LCD screen
If fingerprints or dust make the LCD screen dirty,
we recommend using a LCD Cleaning Kit
(optional) to clean the LCD screen.
Charging the built-in
rechargeable battery in your
camcorder
Your camcorder is supplied with a built-in
rechargeable battry installed so as to retain the
date and time, etc., regardless of the setting of the
POWER switch. The built-in rechargeable battery
is always charged as long as you are using your
camcorder. The battery, however, will get
discharged gradually if you do not use your
camcorder. It will be completely discharged in
about 4 months if you do not use your camcorder
at all. Even if the built-in rechargeable battery is
not charged, it will not affect the camcorder
operation. To retain the date and time, etc.,
charge the battery if the battery is discharged.
