Caratteristiche
L’unità CDU701 è un’unità CD-R OM (Compact Disc Read-Onl y
Memor y, Memoria a sola lettura su compact disc) interna per
computer PC IBM, HP Vectra o compatibili. È in grado di leg g ere
fino a 650 MB di dati digitali memorizzati su un singolo disco CD-
ROM.
L’unità CDU701 ha le seguenti caratteristic he:
Generali
• Unità a mezza altezza di dimensioni pari a quelle di un’unità a
disco da 5,25 pollici.
• Memoria buffer da 128 kb conforme ATAPI (SFF-8020)
• Caricamento dischi come per i CD audio senza uso di juke box.
• Caricamento ed espulsione del disco servocomandata. Il disco può
anche essere espulso manualmente.
• Contenitore ermetico.
Formati disco supportati
• Legge dati da dischi in formato CD-ROM, CD-ROM XA, CD-I e
CD-I Ready, e da dischi CD-EXTRA e CD TEXT.
• Legge dati da dischi in formato CD-BRIDGE compresi i PHOTO-
CD.
• Legge dischi CD audio digitali standard.
• Legge dischi Video CD.
Prestazioni
• Supporta il funzionamento con correzione di errori in tempo reale
a velocità 4 ×, 8× e Max. 32 ×.
• Tempo di accesso ridotto che garantisce un affidabile accesso ai
dati ad alta velocità.
Audio
• Uscita di dati digitali a 16 bit tramite l’interfaccia ATA.
• Dispone di prese jack di uscita di linea audio e per cuffia per la
riproduzione dei CD audio.
Nota:
L’unità CDU701 non è dotata della cir cuiteria audio ADPCM
ric hiesta per suppor tare le modalità audio compatibili CD-R OM XA
e CD-I. Inoltre , l’unità non suppor ta la funzione di decodifica
grafica CD-I, c he de ve essere f ornita dal sistema.
