143Het station in de computer installeren
De jumpers instellen
Stem de stand v an de jumper s op de ac hterkant v an het station af op
de configuratie v an uw computer systeem.
De jumper s zijn in de fabriek v ooraf ing esteld in de “MASTER”-
positie, zoals is afgebeeld.

Opmerkingen over de configuratiejumpers:
Opmerking en o ver de configuratiejumper s:
• Toewijzing van het stationsnummer wordt meestal ingesteld door
een jumperpin op de MASTER- of de SLAVE-pin te plaatsen.
• Als de CDU701 via een doorlusverbinding is gekoppeld aan een
vaste-schijfstation op een IDE-kaart, stelt u het vaste-schijfstation
in als MASTER en de CDU701 als SLAVE.
• Als de CDU701 het enige apparaat is dat op de IDE-kaart is
aangesloten, stelt u de CDU701 in als MASTER.
Een aantal pc’ s g ebruikt ec hter CSEL in plaats v an de eer der
g enoemde MASTER/SLA VE-selectie . In dat g e val verwijder t u de
bestaande jumper s v an MASTER en SLA VE en z et u een jumper op
CSEL. Als het CSEL-signaal v an de interfaceconnector op laa g is
ing esteld, is de aanduiding v an het cd-r om-station station 0. Als de
CSEL op hoog is ingesteld, is de stationsaanduiding station 1.

de dealer v oor meer details.
