Instalación del controlador de software
El disquete de instalación que se incluye con el paquete contiene dos
elementos de software:
• Un instalador
• Un controlador de dispositivo para MS-DOS/Windows 3.1
Nota:
Se requiere tanto MSCDEX (e xtensiones de Micr osoft para CD-
ROM), o equiv alente , como el contr olador de dispositiv o de Son y
para ejecutar la unidad CDU701 bajo los entornos MS-DOS y
Windo ws 3.1.
Por lo tanto, antes de car gar el disquete de instalación, asegúrese de
que MSCDEX está en el directorio DOS del disco duro (C:\DOS).
Aunque MSCDEX se inc luye en las ver siones más actualizadas de
MS-DOS (ver sión. 6.2), acuda a su distrib uidor de PC si no dispone
del mismo.
El instalador car gará MSCDEX automáticamente mediante el
ar chivo AUTOEXEC.B AT e instalará el contr olador de dispositiv o
por medio del ar chivo CONFIG.SYS, siempre que MSCDEX y a esté
en la unidad C:\DOS.
Modo de instalación
Car gue el disquete en la unidad de disquete A y escriba “install” en
el indicador DOS A: (Unidad A activ a),

a contin uación, presione la tec la Entrar .
Después de la instalación se añadirán las siguientes líneas a los
ar c hiv os CONFIG.SYS y A UTOEXEC.B AT.
en CONFIG.SYS:
Device=C:\DEV\ATAPI_CD.SYS /D:mscd000 /I:0
en AUTOEXEC.B AT:
C:\DOS\MSCDEX.EXE /D:mscd000 /M:12 /V
… 125 …
