LTH is een opnamesysteem dat BD-R's met
organisch pigment ondersteunt.
PhotoTV HD
Met "PhotoTV HD" kunt u foto's met veel
details bekijken en van de subtiele texturen en
kleuren van een foto genieten. Door apparaten
van Sony die compatibel zijn met "PhotoTV
HD" aan te sluiten via een HDMI-kabel, kunt u
genieten van een hele nieuwe wereld van foto's
in adembenemende Full HD-kwaliteit. Zo
kunnen nu de delicate textuur van de menselijke
huid, bloemen, zand en golven worden
weergegeven op een groot scherm met een
prachtige beeldkwaliteit.
Pop-upmenu
Een verbeterde menufunctie beschikbaar op
BD-ROM's. Het pop-upmenu wordt
weergegeven wanneer u op POP UP/MENU
drukt en kan worden gebruikt tijdens het
afspelen.
Progressive-indeling
(sequentieel scannen)
In tegenstelling tot de Interlace-indeling kan de
progressive-indeling 50 tot 60 beelden per
seconde weergeven door alle scanlijnen te
reproduceren (525 lijnen voor het NTSC-
systeem). De algemene beeldkwaliteit verbetert
en stilstaande beelden, tekst en horizontale
lijnen worden scherper weergegeven. Deze
indeling is compatibel met de 525 of
625 progressive-indeling.
S-AIR
(Sony Audio Interactive Radio
frequency)
Tijdens de laatste jaren kenden we een snelle
verspreiding van BD/DVD-media, digitaal
uitzenden en andere media van hoge kwaliteit.
Om te garanderen dat de subtiele nuances van
deze media van hoge kwaliteit worden
verzonden zonder verslechtering, heeft Sony de
"S-AIR"-technologie ontwikkeld voor de
radiotransmissie van digitale audiosignalen
zonder compressie en heeft deze technologie
geïntegreerd in EZW-RT10/EZW-RT10A/
EZW-T100.
Deze technologie verzendt digitale
audiosignalen zonder compressie door middel
van de ISM-band met een bandbereik van
2,4 GHz (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical
band), zoals draadloze LAN's en Bluetooth-
toepassingen.
24p True Cinema
Films die worden opgenomen met een
filmcamera bestaan uit 24 frames per seconde.
Aangezien conventionele televisies (zowel
CRT- als vlakbeeldtelevisies) frames weergeven
met intervallen van 1/60 of 1/50 seconde,
worden de 24 frames niet aan een gelijke
snelheid weergegeven.
Wanneer het toestel wordt aangesloten op een tv
met 24p-mogelijkheden, geeft de speler elke
frame weer met intervallen van 1/24 seconde —
hetzelfde interval dat oorspronkelijk met de
filmcamera werd opgenomen, wat dus zorgt
voor een getrouwe reproductie van het originele
bioscoopbeeld.
