1 Safety Instructions

Please read the safety instructions carefully before ﬁrst commissioning and observe the

safety instructions to prevent damage due to misuse, improper operation, and improper

environmental conditions. Keep them for later reference. Check the device for damage

after removing the packaging. Do not use the unit in case of suspected damage; instead,

consult a specialist. The recyclable packaging material must not be stored in a place ac-

cessible to young children, but must be disposed of properly. This appliance is only for the

purpose for which it was explicitly developed. Any other use is regarded as improper and

therefore dangerous. The supplier is not liable for damage to persons and / or property

due to improper or incorrect use. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of expe-

rience and knowledge if they are supervised and have been given instruction concerning

the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the dangers involved. Children

shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be conducted

by children without supervision. Please make sure to place the device on a suitable and

waterproof surfaces, so that spilled liquids can not cause harm. Repairs to electrical

appliances must only be carried out by trained personnel . Improperly performed repairs

and alterations to the equipment can have dangerous consequences for the user and any

tampering will result in the warranty being rejected.

• PLEASE do not place this heater where children, the inﬁrm or pets can reach it.

• Do not cover the heater when in use and make sure that there is at least 12 inches of

clearance behind it so that the air intakes are not blocked .

• Never use the heater near a bath,shower or swimming pool.

• Ensure that no object of any kind is within two metres of the heater when it is in use.

• Never use the heater near any inﬂammable material. It must not be put near or in con-

tact with any FUEL, OIL, GAS or EXPLOSIVES.

• Do not use it outdoors.

• Do not position it directly below a power socket.

• Always position it on a ﬂat horizontal surface.

• NEVER move or pick up the heater when it is turned on.

• Do not use the heater with a programmer or timing device that switches it on automati-

cally. The use of such devices is dangerous and can cause a ﬁre risk.
