1 Safety instructions
Please read the safety instructions carefully before use, and observe the safety instructions to
prevent damage due to misuse, improper operation, and unsuitable environmental conditions.
Keep this instruction booklet for later reference.
Check the device for damage after removing the packaging. Do not use the unit if you suspect
it has been damaged, and consult a specialist. The recyclable packaging material must not be
stored or disposed of where it can be accessed by young children, but must be disposed of
properly.
This appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it was explicitly developed. Any
other use is regarded as improper and therefore dangerous. The supplier is not liable for damage
to persons and/or property resulting from improper or incorrect use.
Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by trained personnel. Improperly per-
formed repairs and alterations to the equipment can have dangerous consequences for the user,
and the warranty will be void in such cases.
• This electric heated overblanket must not be used by persons insensitive or highly vulnerable
to heat, because they would not be able to react if it overheated.
• This electric heated overblanket must not be used by very young children (0 to 3 years),
because they would not be able to react if it overheated.
• This electric heated overblanket must not be used by young children (3 to 8 years) unless the
switch has been set by a parent or guardian and the child has received enough information
to use the electric heated overblanket safely.
• This electric heated overblanket can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children must not play with the electric heated overblanket.
• Children must not carry out cleaning or user maintenance unless supervised.
• This electric heated overblanket is not intended for use in a hospital setting.
• Do not insert pins or needles into the blanket.
• Do not use the electric heated overblanket folded or wrinkled.
• Do not use the heated overblanket if it is wet.
• This electric heated overblanket must be used in combination with the switch indicated on
the label.
