Regelmatige controle
De correcte werking van het veiligheidsmechanisme regelmatig, echter minstens één keer per jaar controleren (bijv.: BGR 232).
De correcte werking van drukgevoelige veiligheidsmechanismen (bijvoorbeeld veiligheidscontactlijst) telkens na 4 weken controleren, zie EN 60335-2-95.
