BESCHREIBUNG DER LCD-ANZEIGE
1. Das Gerät verfügt über fünf Geschwindigkeitsstufen.
2. Nach dem Einstecken des Netzsteckers befindet sich das Gerät im Standby-Modus.
Die LCD-Anzeige leuchtet wie in Abbildung 1 gezeigt.

3. Nach Betätigung des Drehknopfes beginnt der Motor zu laufen. Auf dem LCD-Display werden
entsprechend der Stellungen 1-5 des Drehknopfes die in Abbildungen 2-6 gezeigten
Informationen angezeigt.

4. Wenn der Spannbügel nicht eingerastet ist, startet das Gerät nicht. Auf der LCD-Anzeige blinkt
ein «L», wie in Abbildung 7 zu sehen ist.

5. Wenn die Motortemperatur 110° C übersteigt, wird der Motor automatisch abgeschaltet,
bis die Temperatur wieder unter 100° C sinkt.
6. Wird der Entsafter länger als fünf Minuten nicht benutzt, so schaltet das LCD-Display automatisch ab.
Vor dem Anschliessen an das Stromnetz
1. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Ihre Netzspannung mit der auf der Unterseite des Geräts angegebenen
Spannung übereinstimmt.
2. Der Entsafter entspricht den Vorgaben der Schweiz und der europäischen Gemeinschaft.
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
1. Entfernen Sie alle Verpackungsteile.
2. Spülen Sie die Teile: Siehe dazu Abschnitt «Reinigung».

Vorbereiten der Früchte
1. Entfernen Sie Kerne und Steine (aus Pflaumen, Pfirsichen, Kirschen usw.).
2. Entfernen Sie harte Schalen (von Melonen, Ananas, Gurken, Kartoffeln usw.).
Obst und Gemüse mit weicher Schale braucht nur gewaschen zu werden (z.B. Äpfel, Birnen,
Karotten, Radieschen, Kohl, Petersilie, Sellerie, Spinat, Trauben, Erdbeeren usw.).
3. Zitrusfrüchte: Schälen Sie die Früchte und entfernen Sie die weisse Haut, da der Saft sonst
einen bitteren Geschmack erhält.
4. Schneiden Sie bei Karotten das harte obere Stück ab (Abb. 3).
5. Falls die Karotte zu dick ist und beim Einsetzen in den Einfüllschacht das Filtersieb nicht erreicht,
muss sie halbiert oder geviertelt werden (Abb. 4).
