WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Bitte lesen Sie vor Gebrauch Ihres Solis Power Blender To Go
diese Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch, damit Sie Ihr
Gerät kennenlernen und sicher bedienen können. Wir emp-
fehlen, diese Anleitung sorgfältig aufzubewahren und
gegebenenfalls bei Weitergabe des Gerätes auch dem
neuen Besitzer auszuhändigen.
Bei der Verwendung von elektrischen Geräten sind zu Ihrer
eigenen Sicherheit folgende Vorsichts-Massnahmen zu
beachten:
1. Um einen Stromschlag zu vermeiden, dürfen weder die Motor-
basis noch das Stromkabel und der Netzstecker mit Wasser oder
anderen Flüssigkeiten in Kontakt kommen. In das Gehäuse
könnte Wasser eindringen und das Gerät beschädigen! Sollten
die Motorbasis bzw. das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker mit
Flüssigkeit in Kontakt kommen, ziehen Sie mit trockenen Gum-
mihandschuhen sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
2. Gerät nie mit nassen oder feuchten Händen oder Füssen bedie-
nen bzw. den Netzstecker ziehen.
3. Prüfen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme, ob die auf dem Typen-
schild angegebene Spannung mit Ihrer Netzspannung über-
einstimmt.
4. Das Gerät muss während des Gebrauchs auf einem festen, sta-
bilen, sauberen, feuchtigkeitsunempfindlichen und trockenen
Untergrund stehen, wie ein Tisch oder eine Arbeitsfläche. Wäh-
rend des Gebrauchs kann Ihr Gerät vibrieren und verrutschen.
Deshalb den Standmixer nie in Nähe einer Tischkante benutzen.
Das Gerät ist nicht zum Gebrauch im Freien konzipiert.
5. Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über Tischkanten hängen, damit
es nicht heruntergezogen werden kann. Achten Sie darauf, dass
es nicht mit heissen Oberflächen wie z.B. einer Herdplatte oder
einem Heizkörper bzw. mit dem Gerät selbst in Kontakt kommt.
Kabel immer komplett entrollen, bevor Sie den Netzstecker ein-
stecken.

6. Gerät von heissem Gas, heissen Öfen oder anderen wärmeab-
gebenden Geräten oder Wärmequellen fernhalten. Gerät nie
auf einer nassen oder heissen Oberfläche benutzen. Gerät
nicht in der Nähe von Feuchtigkeit, Hitze und offenen Flammen
platzieren. Gerät von beweglichen Teilen oder Geräten fern-
halten.
7. Gerät nie am Netzkabel tragen oder ziehen und nichts auf das
Netzkabel stellen. Nie am Netzkabel ziehen, um das Gerät vom
Netz zu trennen, sondern nur am Netzstecker.
8. Wir empfehlen, mit diesem Gerät kein Verlängerungskabel zu
benutzen. Gerät nicht direkt unter eine Steckdose stellen.
9. Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker, wenn das Gerät ausser
Betrieb oder unbeaufsichtigt ist, oder wenn es gereinigt wer-
den soll. Wir empfehlen den Einsatz eines Fehlerstromschutz-
schalters (FI-Sicherheitsschalter), um einen zusätzlichen Schutz
bei der Verwendung von elektrischen Geräten zu gewährleis-
ten. Es ist ratsam, einen Sicherheitsschalter mit einem Nenn-
fehlerbetriebsstrom von maximal 30 mA zu verwenden. Fach-
männischen Rat erhalten Sie bei Ihrem Elektriker.
10. Nehmen Sie keine Änderungen am Gerät, Kabel, Stecker oder
am Zubehör vor.
11. Mixer während des Betriebs niemals unbeaufsichtigt lassen! Bei
unsachgemässem Gebrauch besteht Verletzungsgefahr!
12. Greifen Sie niemals nach einem Gerät, das ins Wasser gefallen
ist. Ziehen Sie immer erst den Netzstecker, bevor Sie es aus dem
Wasser nehmen. Nehmen Sie es nicht wieder in Betrieb, bevor
Sie es bei Solis oder einer von Solis autorisierten Servicestelle auf
seine Funktionsfähigkeit und Sicherheit überprüfen haben las-
sen.
13. Gerät niemals so platzieren, dass es ins Wasser fallen könnte
(z.B. neben Spülbecken).
14. Gerät so platzieren, dass es keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung
ausgesetzt ist.

15. Niemals scharfe oder spitze Gegenstände und Werkzeug in die
Geräteöffnungen stecken. Das Gerät könnte beschädigt wer-
den bzw. Gefahr von Stromschlag!
16. Gerät nicht schütteln oder umplatzieren während es in
Gebrauch ist.
17. Gerät nur wie in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben zum
Mixen und Pürieren bzw. Mahlen von Lebensmitteln benutzen.
Niemals etwas anderes als Lebensmittel in den Mixbecher/Mahl-
behälter geben. Nur mitgeliefertes oder von Solis empfohlenes
Zubehör benutzen, falsches Zubehör kann zur Beschädigung
des Gerätes bzw. zu Brand, Stromschlag oder Personenschäden
führen.
18. Das Gerät ist nur für den häuslichen Gebrauch und nicht für
den gewerblichen Einsatz geeignet. Nicht in Fahrzeugen oder
auf Booten verwenden.
19. Prüfen Sie Ihren Mixer vor jedem Gebrauch.
20. Um einen Stromschlag zu vermeiden, verwenden Sie das Gerät
nicht, wenn Kabel oder Netzstecker beschädigt sind oder das
Gerät anderweitige Störungen aufweist, heruntergefallen oder
sonstwie beschädigt ist. Führen Sie Reparaturen niemals selbst
durch sondern geben Sie das Gerät bei Solis oder bei einer von
Solis autorisierten Servicestelle ab, um es zu überprüfen, repa-
rieren oder mechanisch und elektrisch instand setzen zu lassen.
21. Personen mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder
geistigen Fähigkeiten oder unwissende und unerfahrene Per-
sonen, auch Kinder, dürfen das Mixgerät nicht benutzen, aus-
ser sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person
beaufsichtigt oder von dieser genau instruiert, wie das Gerät zu
benutzen ist. Ausserdem müssen sie genau verstanden haben,
welche Gefahren vom Gerät ausgehen können und wie es in
einer sicheren Art und Weise verwendet werden kann. Reini-
gung und Unterhalt des Gerätes dürfen nicht von Kindern
ohne Beaufsichtigung vorgenommen werden. Das Gerät darf
auf keinen Fall von Kindern unter 8 Jahren benutzt oder gerei-
nigt werden.

22. Das Gerät und Netzkabel immer ausser Reichweite von Kindern
aufbewahren.
23. Kinder dürfen das Gerät nicht reinigen, ausser sie werden von einer
erwachsenen, für deren Sicherheit verantwortlichen Person beauf-
sichtigt.
24. Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie nicht mit dem
Mixer spielen.
25. Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, wenn das
Gerät unbeaufsichtigt ist bzw. bevor das Gerät zusammen- oder
auseinandergebaut bzw. gereinigt wird.
26. Das Gerät ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet.
27. Halten Sie einen Mindestabstand von 20 cm zwischen Gerät
und Wänden, Vorhängen, Textilien oder anderen entflammba-
ren Objekten ein. Decken Sie das Gerät niemals ab, während
es in Gebrauch ist.
28. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Solis Power Blender To Go korrekt
zusammengebaut ist, bevor Sie ihn in Betrieb nehmen. Wie Sie
dies genau machen müssen, entnehmen Sie bitte dieser Anlei-
tung auf Seite 14 und 16.
29. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Messerbasis fest auf den Mixbecher
bzw. Mahlbehälter geschraubt ist, bevor Sie ihn in die Motor-
basis stellen. Der Motor muss komplett zum Stillstand gekom-
men sein, bevor Sie den Mixbecher in die Motorbasis einsetzen.
30. Verwenden Sie mit diesem Gerät ausschliesslich den mitgelie-
ferten Mahlbehälter bzw. die Mixbecher mit Messereinsatz. Fal-
sches Zubehör kann zu Stromschlag, Brand- oder Personen-
schäden führen!
31. Stellen Sie immer sicher, dass die Messerbasis fest auf den
Mixbecher geschraubt ist, bevor Sie den Mixer starten, sonst
könnte der Becherinhalt herausspritzen. Auch der Mahlbehäl-
ter muss fest mit der Messerbasis verschraubt sein.

32. Bevor Sie das Gerät verstellen, auseinandernehmen oder reini-
gen, schalten Sie den Mixer immer erst aus (Mixbecher/Mahl-
behälter in Position OFF

drehen). Warten Sie, bis der Motor
und die Messer komplett zum Stillstand gekommen sind und
ziehen Sie dann den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Dies gilt
auch, wenn das Gerät nicht in Gebrauch ist.
33. Warnung: Das Gerät sollte, wenn der Mixbecher mit schwe-
rem und festem Inhalt voll gefüllt ist, nicht länger als 10 Sekun-
den ohne Unterbrechung mixen. Der Motor sollte dann für eine
Minute abkühlen, bevor Sie ihn erneut starten. Beispiel: Ist der
Mixbecher bis zur MAX-Markierung befüllt (z.B. mit 40% fes-
ten Lebensmitteln und 60% Flüssigkeit), sollten Sie das Gerät
höchstens 10 Sekunden ohne Unterbrechung mixen lassen, und
dann den Motor abkühlen lassen. Zu Ihrer Information: Keines
der im, zu diesem Gerät gehörenden, Rezeptbuch angegebe-
nen Rezepte enthält schweren Inhalt. Sie sind somit von dieser
Regel ausgeschlossen.
34. Füllen Sie die Mixbecher immer nur maximal bis zur MAX-Mar-
kierung, sonst könnte der Motor überlastet bzw. die Mixleistung
eingeschränkt werden oder die gemixten Lebensmittel könnten
austreten. Denken Sie auch daran, dass manche Lebensmittel
durch das Mixen ein grösseres Volumen entwickeln.
35. Der Mahlbehälter darf nur für trockene Lebensmittel benutzt
werden. Harte Lebensmittel wie Sternanis, ganze Knoblauch-
zehen oder trockene Mais- oder andere Getreidekörner dürfen
nicht gemahlen bzw. gemixt werden, da dies die Messer
beschädigen kann.
36. Gerät niemals in Betrieb nehmen, wenn die Messer beschädigt
sind oder sich etwas anderes als Lebensmittel im Mixbe-
cher/Mahlbehälter befindet.
37. Sobald Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose gesteckt haben,
dürfen Sie das rotierende Kupplungsstück wie auch dessen
unmittelbares Umfeld nicht mehr berühren.

38. Während das Gerät eingesteckt ist, immer Hände, Finger,
Haare, Kleidung, Schmuck oder Küchenutensilien von der
Motorbasis bzw. dem rotierenden Kupplungsstück fernhalten.
Verletzungsgefahr!
39. Nur wenn der Netzstecker gezogen ist und die Messer komplett
zum Stillstand gekommen sind, dürfen Sie den Mixbecher
abnehmen und die Motorbasis bzw. das rotierende Kupp-
lungsstück berühren. Seien Sie äusserst vorsichtig, nachdem Sie
den Messeraufsatz abgeschraubt und vom Mixbecher/Mahl-
behälter abgenommen haben, da die Messer auch im Stillstand
sehr scharf sind. Vermeiden Sie, die beweglichen Teile des
Mixers zu berühren!
40. Sollten sich Lebensmittel rund um die Messer festgesetzt haben,
entfernen Sie diese vorsichtig mit einem Kunststoffspatel. Nie-
mals die Lebensmittel mit den Fingern lockern, die Messer sind
sehr scharf!
41. Seien Sie beim Hantieren mit der Messerbasis immer sehr vor-
sichtig – die Messer sind extrem scharf! Besondere Vorsicht soll-
ten Sie walten lassen, wenn Sie die Messerbasis abnehmen oder
reinigen. Falsche Handhabung der Messer kann zu Verletzun-
gen führen!
42. Niemals Mixbecher oder Mahlbehälter von der Motorbasis ent-
fernen solange das Gerät eingeschaltet und in Betrieb ist!
43. Gerät nie mit einer Zeitschaltuhr oder Fernbedienung in Betrieb
nehmen. Damit vermeiden Sie, dass sich das Gerät selbsttätig
bzw. versehentlich einschaltet, nachdem z.B. der Motor-Über-
lastungsschutz ausgelöst wurde.
44. Benutzen Sie den Solis Power Blender To Go nur zur Zuberei-
tung von Lebensmitteln oder/und Getränken.
45. Nehmen Sie den Mixer niemals ohne Lebensmittel oder Flüs-
sigkeiten im Mixbecher in Betrieb.

46. Verarbeiten Sie keine heissen oder warmen Zutaten. Diese
müssen vor dem Eingiessen in den Mixkrug immer komplett
abgekühlt sein. Heisse oder warme Lebensmittel vergrössern
ihr Volumen und können deshalb im Becher Druck aufbauen.
47. Setzen Sie die Mixbecher keinen extremen Temperatur-
schwankungen aus, legen Sie zum Beispiel einen kalten Mix-
becher nicht in heisses Wasser oder umgekehrt.
48. Stellen Sie keine Teile des Mixgeräts oder der Becher in die
Mikrowelle!
49. Halten Sie das Gerät sauber. Vor der Reinigung und Aufbe-
wahrung immer erst Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker
ziehen. Beachten Sie dazu die Hinweise in der Rubrik „Pflege
und Reinigung“ auf Seite 18 dieser Anleitung.
50. Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme, alle Verpackungsmaterialien,
Beilagezettel und Aufkleber entfernen und die Deckel sowie
den Mahlbehälter und die Mixbecher mit Messerbasis in war-
mem Spülwasser mit einem weichen Spüllappen spülen. Beach-
ten Sie dazu die Rubrik „Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme“ auf
Seite 13 dieser Anleitung.
Achtung: Die Mixmesser sind extrem scharf, vermeiden Sie
jeden Kontakt mit Ihren Fingern bzw. mit Ihrer Hand!

A Messerbasis mit Kinetix
®
Messer/Becher-System: Becher- und Messerform sind
durch die spezielle Formgebung so aufeinander abgestimmt, dass die unter-
schiedlichen Edelstahlklingen die Zutaten komplett zerkleinern und verhindern,
dass sich in der Mischung ungemixte bzw. unzerkleinerte Speisestücke ansam-
meln bzw. verfangen können. Die inneren Klingen sind extra scharf geschliffen
und damit beim Zerkleinern extrem effektiv, die äusseren Klingen erzeugen die
einzigartige Kinetix
®
-Bewegung im Mixbecher. Die Messerbasis wird auf den Mix-
becher (oder zum Mahlen auf den Mahlbehälter) geschraubt und in die Motor-
basis eingesetzt: So mixen Sie Ihren gesunden Drink oder Smoothie direkt im
Trinkbecher.

HINWEIS ZUM MATERIAL DER MIXBECHER
• Die Mixbecher bestehen aus „Eastman Tritan™“ Copolyester, ein hartes, BPA-
freies Polymer, das bevorzugt für die Herstellung von langlebigen, stark bean-
spruchten Haushaltswaren-Produkten verwendet wird, die auch viele Reini-
gungszyklen in der Spülmaschine unbeschadet überstehen müssen. Produkte aus
Tritan™ sind stossfest, bruchsicher und auch noch schön klar und haltbar selbst
nach vielen Spülgängen in der Spülmaschine.

DIE FUNKTIONEN IHRES
SOLIS POWER BLENDERS TO GO
Grundposition/Position OFF
• Die Messerbasis wird so in die Motorbasis eingesetzt, dass beide Pfeile überei-
nander stehen. In dieser Position ist das Gerät ausgeschaltet.
Position LIQUIFY/Position ON
• Wenn Sie den Mixbecher im Uhrzeigersinn, d.h. nach links drehen, so dass der
Pfeil der Messerbasis über LIQUIFY der Motorbasis steht, wird der Becherinhalt
mit hoher Leistung gemixt, um Smoothies, Cocktails, Drinks oder andere
Mischungen, die sehr fein gemixt werden müssen, zuzubereiten. Das gleiche gilt
für den Mahlbehälter.
PULSE-Funktion
• Die Funktion PULSE ist ideal, wenn Sie mit starken Mix-Intervallen mixen wollen
bzw. die Lebensmittel im Becher zum Zirkulieren bringen wollen. Die Funktion
PULSE eignet sich auch zum Crushen von Eiswürfeln. Um mit der PULSE-Funk-
tion zu mixen, drehen Sie den Mixbecher/Mahlbehälter immer kurz nach links,
auf die Position LIQUIFY, und dann wieder zurück in die OFF-Position

INBETRIEBNAHME
VOR DER ERSTEN INBETRIEBNAHME
• Bevor Sie Ihren Solis Power Blender To Go das erste Mal benutzen, entfernen Sie
bitte alle Verpackungs- und Werbematerialien sowie Aufkleber. Stecken Sie
den Netzstecker noch nicht in die Steckdose. Spülen Sie die Deckel sowie die Mix-
becher, den Mahlbehälter und die Messerbasis in warmem Spülwasser und mit
einem weichen Spüllappen. Spülen Sie alles sorgfältig mit klarem Wasser nach
und trocknen Sie alles ab. Die Mixbecher, der Mahlbehälter und die Deckel sowie
die Messerbasis dürfen auch im Oberfach der Spülmaschine gereinigt werden.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die Deckel jeweils abgenommen haben, bevor Sie die
Becher bzw. den Mahlbehälter in die Spülmaschine stellen. Die Motorbasis darf
nicht in die Spülmaschine gestellt werden, sie sollte mit einem weichen, feuch-
ten Tuch gereinigt und anschliessend getrocknet werden.
Die Mixmesser sind extrem scharf. Vermeiden Sie jeden Kontakt mit
Ihren Fingern bzw. mit Ihrer Hand!
Hinweis: Beim ersten Gebrauch Ihres Mixers könnte ein leichter Geruch
entstehen, der von dem fabrikneuen Motor herrührt. Dies ist normal und
legt sich nach kurzer Zeit.

MIXEN MIT DEN MIXBECHERN
1. Schrauben Sie die Messerbasis vom Becher ab und drehen Sie den Becher um,
so dass die Öffnung nach oben zeigt.
2. Füllen Sie die Zutaten in den Mixbecher und beachten Sie in jedem Fall die MAX-
Markierung (500 ml bzw. 700 ml bei megagrossem Becher). Überschreiten Sie
diese Markierung in keinem Fall.
3. Schrauben Sie die Messerbasis wieder mit einer Vierteldrehung im Uhrzeigersinn
fest auf den Mixbecher. Die Messerbasis muss bis zum Anschlag zugeschraubt
sein, damit kein Inhalt ausfliessen kann.
Achtung: Der Mixer mixt nur, wenn die Messerbasis korrekt auf den Becher
geschraubt ist und der Sicherheitsschalter damit entriegelt wurde.
4. Setzen Sie den Mixbecher mit der Messerbasis nach unten in die Motorbasis ein.
Der Pfeil an der Messerbasis sollte über dem Pfeil auf der Motorbasis stehen.
5. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine passende Steckdose.
6. Drehen Sie den Mixbecher mit Messerbasis im Uhrzeigersinn auf die Position
LIQUIFY und mixen Sie maximal 60 Sekunden, bis die gewünschte Konsistenz
erreicht ist. Dann Mixbecher mit Messerbasis im Gegenuhrzeigersinn drehen, bis
beide Pfeile wieder übereinander stehen (OFF-Position), der Motor stoppt.
Achtung: Mixen Sie maximal 60 Sekunden, dann den Motor für 2 Minuten
abkühlen lassen.
7. Wenn Sie die PULSE-Funktion aktivieren wollen, drehen Sie den Mixbecher
immer kurz auf die Position LIQUIFY und wieder zurück in die OFF-Position (beide
Pfeile stehen übereinander) und wiederholen dies mehrmals, so wird der Motor
in kurzen Intervallen ein- und ausgeschaltet.
8. Wenn der Mixvorgang beendet ist, drehen Sie den Mixbecher in die OFF-Posi-
tion (Pfeile stehen übereinander). Warten Sie einige Sekunden, bis die Messer und
der Motor völlig zum Stillstand gekommen sind und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
Nehmen Sie den Becher von der Motorbasis ab. Drehen Sie den Becher um und

9. Wenn Sie den Drink direkt aus dem Becher trinken oder für unterwegs mitneh-
men wollen, schrauben Sie den Trinkdeckel auf den Becher. Aus der ver-
schliessbaren Trinköffnung können Sie bequem Ihren Drink geniessen.
Wenn der Mixer nicht in Betrieb ist, oder bevor er auseinandergebaut, gereinigt
oder gelagert wird, muss er immer ausgesteckt sein.

TIPPS FÜR PERFEKTES MIXEN
IM MIXBECHER
• WICHTIG: Mixen Sie im Mixbecher niemals heisse oder warme Zutaten.
Mixen Sie niemals Flüssigkeiten mit Kohlensäure, da das Gas nicht aus
dem geschlossenen Becher entweichen kann.
• Wir empfehlen, maximal 1 Minute zu mixen. Bitte beachten Sie die angegebe-
nen Mix-Zeiten im Rezeptbuch. Die Zutaten im Mixbecher können warm wer-
den und einen inneren Druck auf die Dichtungen ausüben, welcher es schwie-
rig macht, den Becher wieder zu öffnen bzw. den Inhalt herausspritzen lassen
kann. Lassen Sie die Mischung, wenn sie warm geworden sein sollte, immer erst
etwas abkühlen und seien Sie vorsichtig beim Öffnen des Bechers.
• Mixen Sie immer Zutaten zusammen mit Flüssigkeiten. Sollten die Zutaten im
Becher nicht zirkulieren, geben Sie etwas mehr Flüssigkeit in den Becher.
• Sollte die Mischung nicht gleichmässig gemixt sein, sollten Sie weniger Zutaten
verwenden, oder eine kleinere Menge pro Durchgang verarbeiten.
• Mixen Sie nur solange wie nötig – mixen Sie generell nicht zu lange.
• Wenn Sie Zutaten mit fester Konsistenz verarbeiten, sollten Sie die PULSE-Funk-
tion nutzen.
• Überschreiten Sie niemals die MAX-Markierung in den Mixbechern (500 ml bzw.
700 ml).
• Maximal können Sie 4 Eiswürfel (klassische Eiswürfel-Grösse aus einem Standard-
Eiswürfelbehälter) im Mixbecher verarbeiten. Dies gilt auch für gefrorene Früchte.
Schneiden Sie die Früchte vor dem Einfrieren in Würfel, die der Grösse eines Eis-
würfels entsprechen.
• Sollten Sie während des Mixens am Oberteil der Motorbasis Feuchtigkeit oder
Flüssigkeit wahrnehmen, drehen Sie den Mixbecher sofort in die OFF-Position
(beide Pfeile stehen übereinander) und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker. Warten Sie,
bis die Messer komplett zum Stillstand gekommen sind. Drehen Sie den Mix-
becher ab und prüfen Sie, ob die Messerbasis korrekt aufgeschraubt war.
Wischen Sie die Motorbasis sofort mit einem trockenen Tuch oder Küchenpapier
trocken.

MAHLEN MIT DEM MAHLBEHÄLTER
1. Füllen Sie den offenen Mahlbehälter aus Edelstahl mit trockenen Lebensmitteln
wie Samen, Nüsse etc. Beachten Sie in jedem Fall die MAX-Markierung im
Behälter und überfüllen Sie ihn nicht!
2. Schrauben Sie die Messerbasis mit einer Vierteldrehung im Uhrzeigersinn fest auf
den Mahlbehälter. Die Messerbasis muss bis zum Anschlag zugeschraubt sein,
damit kein Inhalt austreten kann.
Achtung: Der Mixer mixt bzw. mahlt nur, wenn die Messerbasis korrekt auf den
Mahlbehälter geschraubt ist und der Sicherheitsschalter damit entriegelt wurde.
3. Setzen Sie den Mahlbehälter mit der Messerbasis nach unten in die Motorbasis
ein. Der Pfeil an der Messerbasis sollte über dem Pfeil auf der Motorbasis ste-
hen.
4. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine passende Steckdose.
5. Drehen Sie den Mahlbehälter mit Messerbasis im Uhrzeigersinn auf die Position
LIQUIFY und mixen Sie maximal 30 Sekunden bzw. kürzer, bis die gewünschte
Konsistenz erreicht ist. Dann Mahlbehälter mit Messerbasis im Gegenuhrzei-
gersinn drehen, bis beide Pfeile wieder übereinander stehen (OFF-Position) und
der Motor stoppt. Sollten Sie noch länger mahlen wollen, müssen Sie den
Motor in jedem Fall 30 Sekunden abkühlen lassen, auch der Edelstahl-Mahlbe-
hälter benötigt diese Zeit, um abzukühlen. Achtung: Mixen Sie maximal 30
Sekunden, dann den Motor für 30 Sekunden abkühlen lassen.
6. Sie können sowohl kontinuierlich mahlen (Position LIQUIFY) als auch die PULSE-
Funktion aktivieren. Drehen Sie dazu den Mahlbehälter immer kurz auf die Posi-
tion LIQUIFY und wieder zurück in die OFF-Position (beide Pfeile stehen überei-
nander) und wiederholen dies mehrmals, so wird der Motor in kurzen Intervallen
ein- und ausgeschaltet.
7. Wenn der Mahlvorgang beendet ist, drehen Sie den Mahlbehälter in die OFF-Posi-
tion. Warten Sie einige Sekunden, bis die Messer und der Motor völlig zum Still-
stand gekommen sind und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker. Sollte der Mahlbehälter
heiss geworden sein, fassen Sie zum Abschrauben die Messerbasis an und nicht
den Mahlbehälter. Nehmen Sie den Mahlbehälter von der Motorbasis ab, dre-
hen Sie den Behälter um und schrauben Sie die Messerbasis im Gegenuhrzei-
gersinn vom Behälter ab. Achtung: Der Mahlbehälter könnte durch den Mahl-
vorgang heiss geworden sein.
Wenn der Mixer nicht in Betrieb ist, oder bevor er auseinander gebaut, gereinigt
oder gelagert wird, muss er immer ausgesteckt sein.

Bitte beachten Sie beim Mahlen mit dem Mahlbehälter aus Edelstahl unbe-
dingt:
• Damit die Lebensmittel gleichmässig gemahlen werden, empfehlen wir, den
Mahlbehälter nur zu einem Drittel bzw. bis zur Hälfte zu füllen.
• Wenn Sie Nüsse mahlen, dürfen Sie nur so lange gemahlen werden, bis sie pulv-
rig sind. Mit der Mahlfunktion können Sie keine Nuss-Butter bzw. -Paste her-
stellen!
• Im Mahlbehälter immer nur trockene Lebensmittel mahlen, keine Flüssigkeiten
zugeben.
• Sehr harte Lebensmittel wie getrocknete Maiskörner oder Sternanis können nicht
im Mahlbehälter gemahlen werden.

ÜBERLASTUNGSSCHUTZ
WARNUNG: Um den Motor zu schützen, bitte nicht versuchen, das
Gerät weiter zu benutzen, wenn der automatische Überlastungs-
schutz ausgelöst worden ist.
Schalten Sie das Gerät in diesem Fall aus (OFF-Position), ziehen Sie den Netzste-
cker und nehmen Sie den Mahlbehälter oder Mixbecher ab. Warten Sie 30 Minu-
ten, damit sich der Motor abkühlen kann. In dieser Zeit den Mahlbehälter/Mix-
becher nicht in die Motorbasis einsetzen, da das Gerät sonst beim Zurücksetzen
des Überlastungsschutzes plötzlich starten könnte. Stecken Sie dann den Netz-
stecker wieder in die Steckdose und schalten Sie das Gerät erneut ein.
Wenn der Motor ausreichend abgekühlt ist, funktioniert Ihr Gerät wieder und Sie
können den Mixer wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben weiter benutzen.
Der Motor kann überlasten, wenn der Mixbecher/Mahlbehälter zu schwer befüllt
ist oder zu lange gemixt worden ist. In diesem Fall die Zutatenmenge reduzieren
oder immer wieder während des Mixens pausieren, um den Motor abkühlen zu
lassen, um einer Überlastung vorzubeugen.
Die Einhaltung der MAX-Markierung verringert die Gefahr, dass der Motor über-
lastet wird. Allerdings kann es trotzdem vorkommen, dass besonders feste
Lebensmittel eine Überlastung verursachen. Wenn Sie beobachten, dass der
Motor stockt oder langsam läuft, mixen Sie nur 10 Sekunden ununterbrochen oder
reduzieren Sie die Zutatenmenge. Auch die Zugabe von Flüssigkeiten kann eine
feste Masse auflockern (gilt nur für den Mixbecher).
Hinweis: Keine der im zu diesem Gerät gehörenden Rezeptbuch angegebenen
Mengen können das Gerät überlasten.

PFLEGE UND REINIGUNG
MIXBECHER/MAHLBEHÄLTER UND DECKEL
BZW. MESSERBASIS
Aus Sicherheitsgründen muss der Netzstecker nach jeder Benutzung gezogen wer-
den. Damit die Lebensmittel nach der Zubereitung nicht an den Messern, am Mix-
becher/Mahlbehälter oder Deckel festtrocknen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, sofort nach
jeder Benutzung wie folgt vorzugehen:
• Spülen Sie die Mixbecher/den Mahlbehälter, die Deckel und die Messerbasis mit
Wasser, um die meisten Speisereste zu entfernen.
• Reinigen Sie die Mixbecher/den Mahlbehälter, die Deckel und die Messer-
basis in warmem Spülwasser und mit einer Flaschenbürste/einem weichen
Schwamm. Anschliessend mit klarem Wasser spülen und sorgfältig abtrocknen.
Alternativ können Sie auch etwas kaltes Wasser in den Mixbecher geben, die
Messerbasis darauf schrauben und entweder 10 Sekunden mit der Motorbasis
mixen oder von Hand schütteln.
Achtung: Füllen Sie für das Reinigungsmixen niemals heisses oder warmes
Wasser in den Mixbecher, es könnte Druck im Becher entstehen. Fügen Sie auch
niemals Spülmittel in das Wasser, wenn Sie mixen oder schütteln.
• Achten Sie darauf, alle Spülmittelreste sorgfältig mit klarem Wasser aus dem
Behälter, den Bechern, Deckeln bzw. der Messerbasis zu spülen.
• Wenn Mixbecher, Deckel und Mahlbehälter bzw. die Messerbasis sauber sind,
alles gut abtrocknen.
• Hinweis: Am einfachsten lassen sich die Mixbecher/der Mahlbehälter unmittel-
bar nach der Benutzung reinigen.
REINIGUNG IN DER SPÜLMASCHINE
• Die Mixbecher, der Mahlbehälter und die Deckel sowie die Messerbasis können
in der Spülmaschine bei einem Standard-Spülprogramm gespült werden. Die Teile
sollten immer im Oberfach der Spülmaschine gespült werden.
REINIGUNG DER MOTORBASIS
• Wischen Sie die Motorbasis mit einem leicht feuchten, weichen Tuch sauber und
trocknen Sie die Basis anschliessend. Entfernen Sie auch eventuelle Speisereste
vom Netzkabel.

HINWEIS ZU DEN REINIGUNGSMITTELN
• Verwenden Sie niemals kratzende oder aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder -lösun-
gen, um die Motorbasis oder die Mixbecher/den Mahlbehälter mit Deckel und
Messerbasis zu reinigen – diese könnten die Oberfläche verkratzen. Nur warmes
Wasser mit mildem Spülmittel und ein weiches Tuch verwenden.
SO ENTFERNEN SIE HARTNÄCKIGE VERFÄRBUNGEN
UND GERÜCHE
• Geruchsintensive Lebensmittel wie Knoblauch, Kümmel/Koriander oder einige
Gemüsesorten wie Karotten können einen Geruch oder Verfärbungen an den
Mixbechern oder Deckeln hinterlassen.
• Um diese zu entfernen, füllen Sie die Mixbecher bis zur MAX-Markierung mit
warmem Spülwasser und lassen Sie sie für maximal 5 Minuten einwirken.
Danach reinigen Sie die Mixbecher mit einem milden Spülmittel und warmem
Wasser. Anschliessend sorgfältig mit klarem Wasser nachspülen und trocknen.
Unbedingt mit offenem Deckel lagern.
• Die Deckel für höchstens 5 Minuten in warmes Spülwasser einlegen. Anschlies-
send mit einem milden Spülmittel und warmem Wasser reinigen. Danach sorg-
fältig mit klarem Wasser nachspülen und trocknen.
ZU BEACHTEN BEI ZUBEREITUNGEN MIT ZITRONENSAFT
• Der Saft von Zitrusfrüchten kann die Mixbecher trüben und deren Lebensdauer
beeinträchtigen. Wir empfehlen, die Mixbecher sofort nach der Benutzung in
warmem Spülwasser zu reinigen, sie sorgfältig mit klarem Wasser zu spülen und
anschliessend sofort zu trocknen. Mixbecher nicht einweichen lassen!
LAGERUNG
• Lagern Sie Ihren Solis Power Blender To Go in aufrechter Position, die Mixbecher
sollten sich neben der Motorbasis befinden. Stellen Sie nichts auf das Gerät.
Damit die Luft zirkulieren kann, sollten die Mixbecher offen, ohne Deckel oder
Messerbasis, gelagert werden. In keinem Fall das zusammengebaute Gerät mit
dem Mixbecher in der Position LIQUIFY lagern, da der Motor sonst sofort star-
ten würde, sobald Sie den Netzstecker einstecken.

CONSIGNES DE SECURITE IMPORTANTES
Merci de lire ce mode d’emploi attentivement avant la pre-
mière utilisation afin de vous familiariser avec votre Power
Blender To Go de Solis et de l’utiliser en toute sécurité. Nous
vous conseillons de conserver ce mode d’emploi. En cas de
vente de l’appareil, merci de transmettre le mode d’emploi
au nouveau propriétaire.
Comme pour chaque utilisation d’un appareil électrique les
consignes suivantes sont à respecter pour votre propre sécu-
rité :
1. Afin d’éviter toute électrocution, le bloc moteur et le câble / la
prise ne doivent pas entrer en contact avec de l’eau ou autre
liquide. De l’eau pourrait s’infiltrer dans l’appareil et l’endom-
mager. Si le bloc moteur ou le câble / la prise est entré en
contact avec un liquide, enfilez des gants en plastique secs et
débranchez aussitôt l’appareil.
2. N’utilisez jamais l’appareil si vos mains ou pieds sont mouillés.
Il en va de même lorsque vous voulez débrancher l’appareil.
3. Vérifiez avant l’utilisation que la tension de l’appareil soit com-
patible avec la tension de secteur.
4. Placez l'appareil sur une surface ferme, plane, propre, sèche et
résistante à l'humidité, comme une table ou un plan de travail.
Le mixeur risque de bouger et de vibrer pendant son utilisation,
c’est pourquoi il est recommandé de ne pas placer le mixeur
trop près du bord d’une table. N’utilisez pas l'appareil à l'exté-
rieur.
5. Ne laissez pas pendre le câble électrique au bord d’une table,
l’appareil risquerait de tomber. Veillez à ce que le câble n’entre
pas en contact avec des surfaces chaudes telles que des plaques
de cuisson, des radiateurs ou même avec le mixeur lui-même.
Déroulez le câble entièrement avant de le brancher dans la prise
secteur.

6. Tenez l'appareil à l’écart de sources de chaleur telles qu’une
gazinière, un four ou autre appareil dégageant de la chaleur.
N'utilisez jamais l'appareil sur une surface mouillée ou chaude.
Ne placez jamais l'appareil à proximité d’une source d'humidité,
de chaleur ou d’une flamme nue. Tenez à l’écart d’objets ou
appareils mobiles.
7. Ne tenez jamais l’appareil par le câble. Ne tirez pas sur le câble.
Ne posez pas d’objets sur le câble. Ne tirez jamais sur le câble,
mais seulement sur la prise pour débrancher l'appareil
8. Nous vous conseillons de ne pas utiliser de rallonge électrique.
Ne placez jamais l'appareil directement en-dessous d'une prise
électrique.
9. Débranchez toujours l’appareil lorsque celui-ci n’est pas utilisé
ou n’est pas sous surveillance ou lorsque vous voulez le net-
toyer. Afin de garantir une protection supplémentaire lors de
l’utilisation d’appareils électriques, nous vous recommandons
un disjoncteur différentiel (DDR). Nous conseillons d’utiliser
un interrupteur de sécurité avec une sensibilité différentielle de
maximum 30 mA. Demandez conseil à votre électricien.
10. N’apportez aucune modification à l’appareil, au câble, à la
prise ou aux accessoires.
11. Ne laissez jamais le mixeur sans surveillance lorsqu’il est en
marche. Risque d’accident en cas d’utilisation inappropriée !
12. Ne cherchez jamais à attraper un appareil tombé dans l’eau.
Débranchez d’abord l’appareil de la prise secteur avant de le
sortir de l’eau. Avant de le réutiliser, remettez votre appareil à
Solis ou à un service après-vente agréé par Solis afin que celui-
ci vérifie son bon fonctionnement et sa sécurité !
13. Ne disposez jamais l’appareil à proximité d’une source d’eau
dans laquelle il pourrait tomber (par exemple un évier).
14. N’exposez pas l’appareil directement au soleil.
15. N’introduisez jamais d’objets aigus ou pointus dans les ouver-
tures de l’appareil. Risque d’endommagement de l’appareil ou
d’électrocution !

16. Ne secouez jamais trop fortement ou déplacez l’appareil pen-
dant son utilisation.
17. N’utilisez l’appareil que comme indiqué dans ce mode d’emploi
pour mixer, réduire en purée ou moudre des aliments. Ajoutez
exclusivement des produits alimentaires dans le bol mixeur / le
moulin. N’utilisez l’appareil qu’avec les accessoires fournis ou
recommandés par Solis. Un accessoire inapproprié peut entraî-
ner un endommagement de l’appareil ou être la cause d’un
incendie, d’une électrocution ou de dommages corporels.
18. L’appareil est destiné à un usage privé et non pas commercial.
Ne pas utiliser le mixeur dans un véhicule ou sur un bateau.
19. Contrôlez toujours votre mixeur avant de l’utiliser.
20. Afin d’éviter toute électrocution, n’utilisez pas l’appareil si le
câble ou la prise est endommagé ou si l’appareil présente une
anomalie, a subi une chute ou est lui-même endommagé.
N’essayez jamais de réparer vous-même l’appareil. Remettez un
appareil défectueux à Solis ou à un service après-vente agréé
par Solis afin que celui-ci le vérifie et le répare.
21. Les personnes ayant un handicap physique, sensoriel ou men-
tal ainsi que les personnes inexpérimentées et les enfants ne
doivent pas utiliser le mixeur sans surveillance d’une personne
responsable de leur sécurité ou sans avoir été instruites par cette
dernière sur son fonctionnement. De plus elles doivent avoir

comment il peut être utilisé en toute sécurité. Les enfants ne
sont pas autorisés à nettoyer et entretenir l’appareil sans sur-
veillance. L’appareil ne doit en aucun cas être utilisé par des
enfants de moins de 8 ans.
22. Rangez toujours l’appareil avec son câble hors portée des
enfants.
23. Les enfants ne sont pas autorisés à nettoyer l’appareil sans la
présence d’un adulte responsable de leur sécurité.
24. Veuillez surveiller vos enfants afin qu’ils ne jouent pas avec le
mixeur.

25. Débranchez toujours l’appareil lorsqu’il est sans surveillance ou
avant de le monter, de le démonter ou de le nettoyer.
26. L’appareil est équipé d’une protection contre la surchauffe.
27. Maintenez un écart de 20 cm entre l’appareil et les murs, les
rideaux, les textiles ou tout autre objet inflammable. Ne recou-
vrez jamais l’appareil lorsqu’il est en marche.
28. Vérifiez que le Solis Power Blender To Go est correctement
assemblé avant de le mettre ne marche. Référez-vous pour cela
aux consignes indiquées pages 36 et 38 de ce mode d’emploi.
29. Prenez soin que l’ensemble porte-lames soit bien vissé sur le bol
mixeur ou le moulin avant de le mettre sur le bloc moteur. Le
moteur doit être à l’arrêt complet avant de pouvoir mettre le
bol ou le moulin sur le bloc moteur.
30. Utilisez exclusivement le bol mixeur ou le moulin fourni et l’en-
semble porte-lames dans cet appareil. Un accessoire inappro-
prié peut entraîner une électrocution, un incendie ou des dom-
mages corporels !
31. Vérifiez toujours que l’ensemble porte-lames est correctement
vissé sur le bol mixeur avant de mettre l’appareil en marche. Si
ce n’est pas le cas, les aliments pourraient gicler hors du bol.
Le moulin doit lui aussi être correctement vissé sur l’ensemble
porte-lames.
32. Avant de déplacer l’appareil, de le démonter ou de le nettoyer,
éteignez-le toujours tout d’abord (en tournant le bol mixeur /
le moulin sur la position OFF

). Attendez ensuite jusqu’à ce
que le moteur et les lames soient à l’arrêt complet, puis débran-
chez l’appareil. Il en va de même lorsque l’appareil n’est pas uti-
lisé.
33. Avertissement : Lorsque le bol mixeur est rempli avec des ali-
ments lourds et solides, nous vous recommandons de ne pas
mixer pendant plus de 10 secondes sans interruption. Laissez
ensuite le moteur refroidir pendant une minute avant de le
remettre en marche. Exemple : Si le bol mixeur est rempli jus-

qu’au marquage MAX (avec p.ex. 40% d’aliments solides et
60% de liquide), mixez au maximum pendant 10 secondes sans
interruption puis laissez le moteur refroidir. Pour votre infor-
mation : Aucune des recettes à effectuer avec cet appareil et
qui sont décrites dans le livre de recettes ne contiennent des ali-
ments lourds. Elles ne sont donc pas assujetties à cette règle.
34. Ne remplissez pas le bol mixeur au-delà du marquage MAX,
sinon vous risqueriez de surcharger le moteur et cela entrave-
rait les performances de l’appareil ou les aliments mixés ris-
queraient de déborder. Prenez également en considération
que certains aliments prennent du volume lorsqu’ils sont mixés.
35. Le moulin ne peut être utilisé que pour des aliments secs. Il est
interdit de moudre ou mixer des aliments trop durs tels que la
badiane, les gousses d’ail entières ou les grains de blé ou de
maïs secs, car ces aliments pourraient endommager les lames.
36. Ne mettez jamais l’appareil en marche si les lames sont endom-
magées ou si quelque chose d’autre que des aliments se trouve
dans le bol mixeur / le moulin.
37. Dès que l’appareil est branché, il est interdit de toucher la pièce
d’accouplement rotative et son environnement.
38. Lorsque l’appareil est branché, prenez soin de toujours main-
tenir vos mains, doigts, cheveux, vêtements, bijoux ou les
ustensiles de cuisine à l’écart du bloc moteur et de la pièce d’ac-
couplement rotative. Risque de blessures !
39. Il n’est possible de retirer le bol mixeur ou de toucher le bloc
moteur et la pièce d’accouplement rotative que lorsque l’ap-
pareil est débranché et les lames sont à l’arrêt complet. Soyez
particulièrement prudent après avoir dévissé l’ensemble porte-
lames et retiré le bol mixeur / le moulin, parce que les lames sont
très tranchantes, même à l’arrêt. Evitez de toucher les parties
mobiles du mixeur !
40. Si des aliments se sont coincés autour des lames, retirez-les avec
précaution en utilisant une spatule en plastique. N’essayez

jamais de débloquer les aliments avec vos mains, les lames sont
très tranchantes !
41. Soyez toujours prudent lorsque vous manipulez l’ensemble
porte-lames – les lames sont très tranchantes ! Soyez tout par-
ticulièrement prudent lorsque vous retirez ou nettoyez l’en-
semble porte-lames. Une mauvaise manipulation des lames
peut entraîner des blessures !
42. Ne retirez jamais le bol mixeur ou le moulin du bloc moteur
lorsque l’appareil est branché et en marche !
43. Ne mettez jamais l’appareil en marche au moyen d’une minu-
terie ou d’une télécommande. Vous éviterez ainsi que l’appa-
reil se mette en marche tout seul ou par inadvertance, par
exemple après que la protection contre la surchauffe du moteur
se soit déclenchée.
44. Utilisez le Solis Power Blender To Go exclusivement pour la pré-
paration de produits alimentaires et / ou de boissons.
45. Ne mettez jamais le mixeur en marche à vide.
46. Ne travaillez jamais d’ingrédients brûlants ou chauds. Ceux-ci
doivent toujours être entièrement refroidis avant de les ver-
ser dans le bol mixeur. Les ingrédients brûlants ou chauds aug-
mentent de volume, c’est pourquoi ils risquent d’augmenter la
pression dans le bol.
47. N’exposez pas le bol mixeur à des variations de températures
extrêmes. Ne posez par exemple pas le bol mixeur froid dans
de l’eau très chaude ou vice versa.
48. Ne mettez aucun des éléments du mixeur dans le four micro-
onde !
49. L’appareil doit être toujours propre. Eteignez et débranchez tou-
jours l’appareil avant de le nettoyer et de le ranger. Voir à ce
propos le chapitre « Entretien et nettoyage » page 40 de ce
mode d'empoi.

: La forme du bol et
celle des lames sont assorties l’une à l’autre grâce à leur forme spéciale de
manière à ce que les différentes lames en acier inoxydable réduisent les ingré-
dients en petits morceaux et qu’aucun aliment non mixé ou non réduit en mor-

SOLIS POWER BLENDER TO GO
La position de base / position OFF
• L’ensemble porte-lames est placé sur le bloc moteur de manière à ce que les deux
flèches soient l’une en face de l’autre. Dans cette position, l’appareil est éteint.
Position LIQUIFY / position ON
• Si vous tournez le bol mixeur dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, c’est-à-
dire vers la gauche, de manière à ce que la flèche de l’ensemble porte-lames soit
située sur LIQUIFY, le contenu du bol est mixé à puissance élevée, afin de pré-
parer des smoothies, des cocktails, des boissons ou autres mélanges qui doivent
être mixés très fins. Il en va de même pour le moulin.
Programme PULSE
• Le programme PULSE est idéal si vous voulez mixer par intervalles importants ou
si les aliments doivent circuler dans le bol. Le programme PULSE est également
idéal pour faire de la glace pilée à partir de glaçons. Pour mixer avec le pro-
gramme PULSE, tournez le bol mixeur / le moulin toujours brièvement vers la
gauche sur la position LIQUIFY, puis ramenez-le sur la position OFF

MISE EN SERVICE
AVANT LA PREMIÈRE MISE EN SERVICE
• Avant d’utiliser votre Solis Power Blender To Go pour la première fois, veuillez
retirer tous les matériaux d’emballage et de publicité ainsi que les autocollants.
Ne branchez pas encore l’appareil. Lavez les couvercles ainsi que les bols mixeur,
le moulin et l’ensemble porte-lames dans de l’eau de vaisselle chaude avec une
éponge douce. Rincez-les tout soigneusement avec de l’eau claire et séchez bien
tous les éléments. Les bols mixeur, le moulin et les couvercles ainsi que l’ensemble
porte-lames peuvent également être lavés dans le compartiment supérieur du
lave-vaisselle. Prenez soin d’avoir retiré les couvercles avant de mettre les bols
dans le lave-vaisselle. Il est interdit de mettre le bloc moteur dans le lave-vaisselle.
Vous pouvez le nettoyer avec un chiffon doux et humide puis bien le sécher.
Les lames sont extrêmement tranchantes. Evitez tout contact avec vos
doigts et mains !
Remarque : Lors de la première utilisation de votre mixeur, une légère
odeur peut se dégager, qui provient du moteur tout neuf. Ceci est nor-
mal et disparaît après peu de temps.

MIXER AVEC LES BOLS MIXEUR
1. Dévissez l’ensemble porte-lames du bol et retournez le bol, de manière à ce que
l’ouverture soit en haut.
2. Remplissez les ingrédients dans le bol mixeur en respectant toujours le marquage
MAX (500 ml ou 700 ml pour le bol extra-grand). Ne dépassez en aucun cas ce
marquage.
3. Revissez l’ensemble porte-lames sur le bol mixeur en le tournant d’un quart de
tour dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre. L’ensemble porte-lames doit être
vissé jusqu’à la butée, de manière à ce que le bol soit hermétique.
Attention : Le mixeur mixe seulement si l’ensemble porte-lames est correcte-
ment vissé sur le bol et que l’interrupteur de sécurité est ainsi débloqué.
4. Retournez le bol mixeur avec l’ensemble porte-lames et placez-le ainsi sur le bloc
moteur. La flèche située sur l’ensemble porte-lames doit être en face de la flèche
située sur le bloc moteur.
5. Branchez l’appareil dans une prise secteur appropriée.
6. Tournez le bol mixeur avec l’ensemble porte-lames dans le sens des aiguilles d’une
montre sur la position LIQUIFY et mixez pendant maximum 60 secondes, jusqu’à
ce que la consistance souhaitée soit atteinte. Tournez ensuite le bol mixeur avec
l’ensemble porte-lames dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre, jusqu’à
ce que les deux flèches soient à nouveau l’une en face de l’autre (position OFF).
Le moteur s’arrête alors.
Attention : Mixez au maximum pendant 60 secondes, puis laissez le moteur
refroidir pendant 2 minutes.
7. Si vous voulez activer le programme PULSE, tournez toujours le bol mixeur briè-
vement sur la position LIQUIFY puis replacez-le sur la position OFF (avec les deux
flèches l’une sur l’autre) et répétez ceci plusieurs fois. Le moteur est ainsi allumé
et éteint par brefs intervalles.
8. En fin d’utilisation, retournez le bol mixeur sur la position OFF. Les deux flèches
sont alors l’une en face de l’autre. Patientez quelques secondes jusqu’à ce que
les lames et le moteur soient à l’arrêt complet puis débranchez l’appareil. Retirez
le bol du bloc moteur. Retournez le bol et patientez jusqu’à ce que le contenu se
détache des lames et s’écoule dans le bol. Dévissez alors l’ensemble porte-lames
du bol en le tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.
9. Si vous voulez boire votre boisson directement dans le bol ou l’emporter avec
vous, vissez le couvercle sur le bol. Vous pouvez déguster votre boisson à travers
l’ouverture pour boire obturable.
Le mixeur doit toujours être débranché s’il n’est pas en service ou avant de le
démonter, de le nettoyer ou de le ranger.

CONSEILS POUR MIXER PARFAITEMENT
AVEC VOTRE BOL MIXEUR
• IMPORTANT : Ne mixez jamais des ingrédients brûlants ou même sim-
plement chauds dans le bol mixeur. Ne mixez jamais des liquides gazeux,
car l’acide carbonate ne peut pas s’évacuer du bol fermé.
• Nous vous recommandons de mixer au maximum pendant 1 minute. Respectez
les durées indiquées dans le livre de recettes. Les ingrédients qui se trouvent dans
le bol mixeur peuvent chauffer et exercer une pression intérieure sur les joints,
si bien qu’il peut être difficile d’ouvrir à nouveau le bol ou que le contenu risque
de gicler. Laissez toujours les ingrédients tout d’abord refroidir un peu, s’ils sont
devenus chauds, et soyez prudent lorsque vous ouvrez le bol.
• Mixez toujours les ingrédients avec du liquide. Si les ingrédients ne circulent pas
dans le bol, ajoutez un peu de liquide dans le bol.
• Si les ingrédients ne sont pas mixés de manière homogène, utilisez moins d’in-
grédients ou mixez une plus petite quantité à la fois.
• Ne mixez pas plus longtemps que nécessaire – D’une manière générale, ne mixez
jamais trop longtemps.
• Si vous travaillez des ingrédients ayant une consistance solide, nous vous recom-
mandons d’utiliser le programme PULSE.
• Ne dépassez jamais le marquage MAX dans les bols mixeur (500 ml ou 700 ml).
• Vous pouvez travailler au maximum 4 glaçons (de taille normale d’un bac à gla-
çons) dans le bol mixeur. Il en va de même pour les fruits congelés. Avant de les
congeler, coupez les fruits en morceaux correspondant à la taille d’un glaçon.
• Si vous constatez de l’humidité ou du liquide sur la partie supérieure du bloc
moteur pendant que vous mixez, tournez le bol mixeur immédiatement sur la
position OFF (les deux flèches l’une sur l’autre) et débranchez l’appareil. Patien-
tez jusqu’à ce que les lames soient à l’arrêt complet. Retournez le bol mixeur et
vérifiez que l’ensemble porte-lames est correctement vissé. Nettoyez le bloc
moteur immédiatement avec un chiffon sec ou du papier absorbant.

MOUDRE AVEC LE MOULIN
1. Remplissez le moulin en acier inoxydable ouvert avec des aliments secs tels que
des graines, des fruits à coque etc. Respectez dans tous les cas le marquage MAX
situé sur le moulin et ne le remplissez pas de trop.
2. Vissez l’ensemble porte-lames d’un quart de tour dans le sens des aiguilles d’une
montre sur le moulin. L’ensemble porte-lames doit être vissé jusqu’à la butée, de
manière à ce que le moulin soit hermétique.
Attention : Le mixeur mixe et moud seulement si l’ensemble porte-lames est cor-
rectement vissé sur le moulin et que l’interrupteur de sécurité est débloqué.
3. Retournez le moulin avec l’ensemble porte-lames et placez-le ainsi sur le bloc
moteur. La flèche située sur l’ensemble porte-lames doit être en face de la flèche
située sur le bloc moteur.
4. Branchez l’appareil dans une prise secteur appropriée.
5. Tournez le moulin avec l’ensemble porte-lames dans le sens des aiguilles d’une
montre sur la position LIQUIFY et mixez pendant maximum 30 secondes ou

il est nécessaire de laisser refroidir à chaque fois le moteur pendant 30 secondes.
Le moulin en acier inoxydable a lui aussi besoin de ce temps pour refroidir. Atten-
tion : Mixez au maximum pendant 30 secondes, puis laissez le moteur refroidir
pendant également 30 secondes.
6. Vous pouvez moudre en continu (position LIQUIFY) ou alors activer le pro-
gramme PULSE. Tournez pour cela toujours le moulin brièvement sur la position
LIQUIFY puis replacez-le sur la position OFF (avec les deux flèches l’une sur l’autre)
et répétez ceci plusieurs fois. Le moteur est ainsi allumé et éteint par brefs inter-
valles.
7. En fin d’utilisation, retournez le moulin sur la position OFF. Patientez quelques
secondes jusqu’à ce que les lames et le moteur soient à l’arrêt complet puis
débranchez l’appareil. Si le moulin a chauffé, tenez-le par l’ensemble porte-lames
pour le dévisser. Retirez le moulin du bloc moteur. Retournez le moulin et dévis-
sez alors l’ensemble porte-lames en le tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles
d’une montre. Attention : Le moulin risque d’avoir chauffé pendant l’utilisation.
Le mixeur doit toujours être débranché s’il n’est pas en service ou avant de le
démonter, de le nettoyer ou de le ranger.

Absolument à respecter pour moudre avec le moulin en acier inoxydable :
• Nous vous recommandons de ne remplir le moulin qu’au tiers ou jusque la moi-
tié afin que les aliments soient moulus de manière homogène.
• Si vous voulez moudre des fruits à coque, ne les moulez pas plus longtemps que
nécessaire, c’est-à-dire jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient en poudre. Vous ne pouvez pas
faire du beurre ou de la pâte à base de fruits à coque avec cet appareil !
• Ne moulez que des ingrédients secs dans le moulin. N’ajoutez jamais de liquides.
• Les aliments très durs tels que par exemple la badiane ou les graines de maïs ne
peuvent être moulus dans le moulin.

PROTECTION CONTRE LA SURCHAUFFE
AVERTISSEMENT : Afin de protéger le moteur, n’essayez pas de con-
tinuer d’utiliser l’appareil si la protection contre la surchauffe s’est
déclenchée.
Dans ce cas, éteignez l’appareil (position OFF), débranchez-le et retirez le moulin
ou le bol mixeur. Patientez pendant 30 minutes afin que le moteur puisse refroi-
dir. Pendant ce temps, ne placez pas le moulin ou le bol mixeur sur le bloc moteur,
afin que l’appareil ne se mette pas en marche délibérément après que la protection
contre la surchauffe se soit réinitialisée. Rebranchez alors l’appareil dans une prise
murale et remettez-le en marche.
Si le moteur est suffisamment refroidi, votre appareil se remet en marche et vous
pouvez le réutiliser comme indiqué dans ce mode d’emploi.
Le moteur peut être surchargé si le bol mixeur / le moulin est rempli avec des ali-
ments trop lourds ou vous avez mixé pendant trop longtemps. Dans ce cas, rédui-
sez la quantité des ingrédients ou faites plusieurs pauses lorsque vous mixez afin
de laisser refroidir le moteur pour éviter une surcharge.
Le respect du marquage MAX diminue le risque que le moteur soit surchargé. Tou-
tefois, il se peut quand même que des aliments particulièrement solides entraî-
nent une surcharge. Si vous remarquez que le moteur stagne ou est plus lent,
mixez seulement 10 secondes sans interruption ou réduisez la quantité des ingré-
dients. Un ajout de liquide peut être également une solution pour aérer les
ingrédients solides (seulement valable pour le bol mixeur).
Remarque : Aucune des quantités indiquées dans le livre de recettes de cet appa-
reil ne peut entraîner une surcharge.

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
BOLS MIXEUR / MOULIN,
COUVERCLES ET ENSEMBLE PORTE-LAMES
Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est nécessaire de débrancher l’appareil après chaque
utilisation. Afin que les ingrédients ne collent pas aux lames, aux bols mixeur / au
moulin ou aux couvercles, nous vous recommandons de procéder comme suit aus-
sitôt après chaque utilisation :
• Rincez les bols mixeur / le moulin, les couvercles et l’ensemble porte-lames sous
de l’eau pour éliminer les résidus alimentaires.
• Nettoyez les bols mixeur / le moulin, les couvercles et l’ensemble porte-
lames dans de l’eau de vaisselle chaude avec une brosse pour bouteilles ou une
éponge douce. Rincez-les ensuite sous de l’eau claire et nettoyez-les soigneu-
sement.
Vous pouvez également mettre de l’eau froide dans le bol mixeur, visser l’en-
semble porte-lames dessus et secouer le bol avec vos mains ou placer le bol sur
le bloc moteur et mixer pendant 10 secondes.
Attention : Si vous voulez utiliser le bloc moteur pour nettoyer le bol, n’ajou-
tez jamais d’eau bouillante ou seulement chaude dans le bol mixeur. Cela ris-
querait de provoquer une pression dans le bol. N’ajoutez également jamais de
produit vaisselle si vous désirez secouer ou mixer le bol pour le nettoyer.
• Prenez soin de bien rincer les bols, le moulin, les couvercles ou l’ensemble
porte-lames pour éliminer tout reste de produit vaisselle.
• Lorsque les bols, le moulin, les couvercles et l’ensemble porte-lames sont bien
propres, séchez-les bien.
• Remarque : Le plus facile est de nettoyer les bols et le moulin directement après
leur utilisation.
NETTOYAGE EN MACHINE
• Les bols mixeur, le moulin et les couvercles ainsi que l’ensemble porte-lames peu-
vent être lavés en machine en utilisant un programme standard. Placez les dif-
férents éléments toujours dans le compartiment supérieur du lave-vaisselle.
NETTOYAGE DU BLOC MOTEUR
• Nettoyez le bloc moteur avec un chiffon doux et légèrement humide et séchez-
le bien ensuite. Si le cordon est sale, nettoyez-le.

REMARQUE SUR LES PRODUITS DETERGENTS
• N’utilisez jamais de produits ou solutions d’entretien agressifs ou récurant, pour
nettoyer le bloc moteur ou les bols mixeur / le moulin, les couvercles et l’ensemble
porte-lames – Cela risquerait d’endommager le revêtement. N’utilisez que de
l’eau chaude avec un produit vaisselle doux et un chiffon doux.
COMMENT PROCEDER POUR ELIMINER DES ODEURS ET
DES DECOLORATIONS RESISTANTES
• Les ingrédients dégageant beaucoup d’odeur tels que l’ail, le cumin, la coriandre
ou certaines variétés de légumes telles que les carottes peuvent laisser une odeur
ou une décoloration sur les bols mixeur ou les couvercles.
• Pour les éliminer, remplissez le bol mixeur jusqu’au marquage MAX avec de l’eau
de vaisselle chaude et laissez agir pendant 5 minutes. Nettoyez ensuite le bol
mixeur avec du produit vaisselle et de l’eau chaude. Enfin, rincez le bol mixeur
avec de l’eau claire et séchez-le. Il est absolument nécessaire de ranger le bol
ouvert.
• Faites tremper les couvercles pendant 5 minutes maximum dans de l’eau de vais-
selle chaude. Nettoyez-les ensuite avec du produit vaisselle doux et de l’eau
chaude. Enfin, rincez-les avec de l’eau claire et séchez-les.
CONSIGNE A RESPECTER LORS DE L’UTILISATION DE JUS
DE CITRON
• Le jus des agrumes peut ternir les bols mixeur ce qui peut entraver leur durée
de vie. Nous vous recommandons de nettoyer les bols mixeur aussitôt après leur
utilisation dans de l’eau de vaisselle chaude, puis de les rincer sous de l’eau claire
et de les sécher soigneusement. Ne faites pas tremper les bols mixeur !
RANGEMENT
• Rangez votre Solis Power Blender To Go en position verticale, en rangeant les bols
mixeur à côté du bloc moteur. Ne placez rien sur l’appareil. Nous vous conseillons
de laisser les bols mixeur ouverts, sans couvercle ou ensemble porte-lames des-
sus, pour que l’air puisse bien circuler. Ne rangez en aucun cas l’appareil assem-
blé avec le bol mixeur sur la position LIQUIFY, car le moteur risque de se mettre
en marche automatiquement lorsque vous branchez l’appareil.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Please read through this user manual thoroughly before
using your Solis Power Blender To Go, so that you become
familiar with your appliance and can use it safely. We thor-
oughly recommend that you keep these instructions and, if
you pass the appliance on, that you also hand these instruc-
tions to the new owner.
For your own safety, please observe the following safety
measures when using elec trical appliances:
1. To prevent electric shock, neither the motor base nor the power
cord or plug must come into contact with water or other
liquids. Water can enter the housing and damage the appli-
ance! Should the motor base resp. the power cord or plug
come into contact with liquids, use dry rubber gloves to pull the
power plug from the socket.
2. Do not operate or unplug the appliance with wet or moist
hands or feet.
3. Before using the appliance, check that the voltage stated on the
appliance matches your mains voltage.
4. Place the appliance while in function on a solid, stable, clean,
dry and moisture resistant surface, like a table. Vibration dur-
ing operation may cause the appliance to move. Therefore do
not place the blender near the edge of a bench or table dur-
ing operation. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
5. Do not leave the power cable hanging over table edges so that
it can be pulled. Make sure that it does not come into contact
with hot surfaces, such as hotplates or a radiator, or that it
comes into contact with the appliance. Fully unwind the cord
before use.
6. Keep the appliance away from hot gas, hot ovens and other
heat-emitting appliances or heat sources. Never use the appli-
ance on a hot or wet surface. Never place the appliance near
moisture, heat and naked flames. Keep the appliance away
from moving parts or appliances.

7. Never carry the appliance by the power cable and do not place
it on the power cable. Never pull on the power cord to dis-
connect the appliance from the power mains.
8. We recommend that you do not use an extension cable with
this appliance. Do not place the appliance directly underneath
a power socket.
9. Unplug the appliance when it is not in use or unattended and
before cleaning. We recommend the use of a residual current
device (RCD safety switch) to ensure additional protection dur-
ing the use of electrical appliances. It is advisable to use a safety
switch with a rated residual operating current of 30 mA max-
imum. For professional advice consult an electrician.
10. Do not make any adjustments to the appliance, cable, plug or
accessories.
11. Do not leave the blender unattended when in use. Incorrect use
may cause injury!
12. Never take hold of an appliance that has fallen into water.
Always take the plug out of the power socket before remov-
ing the appliance from the water. Do not use the appliance
again until you have had it's ability to function safely checked
by Solis or a Solis approved service centre.
13. Never place the blender in a place where it could fall into
water (e.g. next to a sink).
14. Place the appliance so that it is never exposed to direct sunlight.
15. Never put sharp or pointed objects and tools into the appliance
openings. The appliance may become damaged – danger of
electric shock!
16. Do not shake or relocate the appliance while it is in operation.
17. Only use the appliance as described in this manual to blend and
puree resp. grind foods. Never put anything else than food into
the blender cup/grinding container. Only use accessories
included in the delivery or recommended by Solis, improper
accessories can cause damage to the appliance resp. fires,
electric shocks and personal damage.

18. This appliance is only for domestic use and is not suitable for
commercial use. Do not use in moving vehicles or boats.
19. Check your blender before every use.
20. In order to avoid electric shock, do not use the appliance if the
cable or plug are damaged or the appliance is otherwise faulty,
dropped or damaged. Never attempt repairs yourself, but take
your appliance to Solis or a Solis approved service centre in
order to get it inspected or mechanically and electrically
repaired.
21. People with limited physical, sensorial or mental capabilities as
well as unknowing or inexperienced people incl. children must
not use the blender except when supervised or thoroughly
instructed on how to use the appliance by a person responsi-
ble for their safety. Additionally, they must be aware of the dan-
gers arising from the appliance and know how to operate it
safely. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be
done by unsupervised children. Under no circumstances must
the appliance be used by children under 8 years of age.
22. Always keep the appliance and power cord out of the reach of
children.
23. Children must not clean the appliance except when supervised
by a grown-up person responsible for their safety.
24. Children must be supervised to prevent them from playing with
the blender.
25. Always pull the plug from the socket if the appliance is unsu-
pervised resp. before assembling or disassembling resp. clean-
ing the appliance.
26. The appliance is equipped with overheat protection.
27. Keep a minimum distance of 20 cm between the appliance and
walls, curtains, textiles or other inflammable objects. Never
cover the appliance while it is in use.
28. Make sure that the Solis Power Blender To Go is correctly
assembled before using it. How to do this exactly you can learn
on pages 56 and 58 of this manual.

29. Please ensure that the blade base is firmly screwed onto the
blender cup resp. grinding container before placing it on the
motor base. The motor has to come to a full stop before the
blender cup is inserted into the motor base.
30. Only use the included blender cups resp. the grinding container
with blade inset. Improper accessories can cause electric shocks,
fire or personal damage!
31. Always make sure that the blade base is firmly screwed onto
the blender cup before starting the blender, otherwise the
contents of the cup might splash out. The grinding container
too has to be firmly screwed onto the blade base.
32. Always switch the blender off (turn blender cup/grinding con-
tainer to the OFF position

) before moving, disassembling or
cleaning the appliance. Wait for the motor and the blades to
come to a full stop and pull the plug from the socket. This also
applies when the appliance is not in use.
33. Warning: The appliance should not blend for more than
10 seconds without interruption if the blender cup is filled with
heavy and solid contents. The motor should be allowed to cool
down for one minute before you restart it. For example: If the
blender cup is filled up to the MAX marking (f.e. with 40% solid
foods and 60% liquid), you should only let the appliance blend
for 10 seconds without interruption and then let the motor cool
down. For your information: None of the recipes in the recipe
book belonging to this appliance contains heavy contents.
Consequently, they are excluded from this rule.
34. Only fill the blender cup up to the MAX marking, otherwise the
motor could be overloaded resp. the blending power could be
compromised. The blended foods might escape the blender
cup. Keep in mind that some foods grow in volume when
blended.
35. The grinding container must only be used for dry foods. Solid
foods like star aniseed, whole cloves of garlic or dry maize or
other corn must not be ground resp. blended, as this might
damage the blades.

36. Never use the appliance if the blades are damaged or something
other than food is in the blender cup/grinding container.
37. Once the power plug has been connected to the socket, you
must not touch the rotating coupling piece and its immediate
surroundings.
38. Keep hands, fingers, hair, clothing, jewelry and kitchen uten-
sils well away from the motor base resp. the rotating coupling
piece when the appliance is switched on! Risk of injury!
39. Only if the power plug has been pulled and the blades have
come to a full stop you may remove the blender cup and
touch the motor base resp. the rotating coupling piece. Be
extremely careful after you have unscrewed and removed the
blade inset from the blender cup. as the blades are very sharp
even at a standstill. Avoid touching the moving parts of the
blender!
40. Should foods have clumped around the blades, carefully remove
them with a plastic spatula. Never loosen the foods with your
fingers, the blades are very sharp!
41. Be very careful when handling the blade base – the blades are
extremely sharp! You should be especially careful when remov-
ing or cleaning the blade base. Improper handling can lead to
injuries!
42. Never remove blender cup or grinding container from the
motor base while the appliance is switched on and in use!
43. Never operate the appliance with a timer switch or a remote
control. This will prevent the appliance from switching on
automatically or accidentally, f.e. after the motor overload pro-
tection has been triggered.
44. Only use the Solis Power Blender To Go to prepare foods
and/or beverages.
45. Never use the blender without foods or liquids in the blender
cup.

46. Do not process any hot or warm foods. These must be cooled
down completely before being poured into the blender cup.
Hot or warm foods grow in volume and might build up pres-
sure in the cup.
47. Do not expose the blender cups to extreme temperature
changes. For example, do not place a cold blender cup in hot
water and vice versa.
48. Do not place any parts of the blender or the cups in the
microwave!
49. Keep the appliance clean. Always switch the appliance off and
pull the plug before cleaning and storing the appliance. Refer
to „Care and cleaning“ instructions on page 60 in this manual.
50. Before the first use, remove all packaging materials, package
inserts and stickers and rinse the grinding container and the
blender cups with the blade base in warm dishwater with a soft
dish towel. Please refer to the section „Before First Use“ on
page 55 of this manual.
Caution: The blender blades are extremely sharp, avoid any
contact with your fingers resp. with your hand!

A Blade base with Kinetix
®
blade/cup system: The shapes of the cup resp. the
blades are specially designed to correspond to each other, so that the different
stainless steel blades completely chop the ingredients and prevent unblended
resp. unchopped pieces of food from collecting resp. getting caught in the mix-
ture. The central blades are serrated for extra cutting performance, and the outer
blades create the unique Kinetix
®
motion in the blender cup. The blade base is
screwed onto the blender cup (or, for grinding, onto the grinding container) and

THE FUNCTIONS OF YOUR
SOLIS POWER BLENDER TO GO
Basic position/Position OFF
• The blade base is inserted into the motor base in such a way that the arrows line
up. In this position, the appliance is switched off.
Position LIQUIFY/Position ON
• If you turn the blender cup in a clockwise direction so that the arrow on the blade
base points to LIQUIFY on the motor base, the contents of the cup are blended
at a high power to make smoothies, cocktails, drinks or other mixtures that have
to be very finely blended. The same applies for the grinding container.
PULSE function
• The PULSE function is ideal if you want to blend with strong blending intervals
resp. make the foods circulate in the cup. The function PULSE is also suitable for
crushing ice cubes. To blend with the PULSE function, turn the blender cup/grind-
ing container briefly to the left, to the LIQUIFY position, and then back to the
OFF position

FIRST USE
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Please remove all packaging and advertising materials and stickers before using
your Solis Power Blender To Go for the first time. Do not plug the power plug
into the power socket yet. Wash the lids and the blender cups, the grinding con-
tainer and the blade base in warm dishwater with a soft dish towel. Rinse every-
thing carefully with clear water and dry everything. The blender cups, the grind-
ing container, the lids and the blade base can be cleaned in the top drawer of
the dishwasher. Please make sure that all the lids have been removed before plac-
ing the cups resp. the grinding container in the dishwasher. The motor base must
not be placed in the dishwasher, it should be cleaned with a soft, wet towel and
then dried.
The blending blades are extremely sharp. Avoid any contact with your fin-
gers resp. your hand!
Note: When using your blender for the first time, the factory-fresh motor
might cause a light smell. This is normal and wears off after a short time.

BLENDING WITH THE BLENDER CUPS
1. Unscrew the blade base from the cup and turn the cup upside down, so that the
opening points upwards.
2. Fill the ingredients into the blender cup and, in any case, pay close attention to
the MAX marking (500 ml resp. 700 ml in the mega large cup). Under no cir-
cumstances exceed this marking.
3. Screw the blade base back onto the blender cup by giving it a quarter turn in a
clockwise direction. The blade base must be screwed on all the way to prevent
the contents from escaping.
Caution: The blender will only blend if the motor base has been correctly
screwed onto the cup. This will unlock the safety switch.
4. Place the blender cup in the motor base with the blade base facing downwards.
The arrow on the blade base should line up with the arrow on the motor base.
5. Plug the power plug into a suitable power socket.
6. Turn the blender cup with the blade base in a clockwise direction to the LIQUIFY
position and blend for a maximum of 60 seconds, until the desired consistency
has been reached. Then, turn the blender cup with the blade base in a counter-
clockwise direction until both arrows are lined up again (OFF position). The motor
stops.
Caution: Blend for a maximum of 60 seconds, then let the motor cool down for
2 minutes.
7. If you want to activate the PULSE function, turn the blender cup briefly to the
LIQUIFY position and then back to the OFF position (both arrows line up).
Repeat this multiple times and the motor will be switched on and off at short
intervals.
8. When the blending process has been completed, turn the blender cup to the OFF
position (both arrows line up). Wait a few seconds for the blades and the motor
to come to a full stop and pull the power plug. Remove the cup from the motor
base. Turn the cup upside down and wait for the contents to run off the blades
into the cup. Then, unscrew the blade base from the cup in a counter-clockwise
direction.
9. If you want to drink the beverage directly from the cup or take it with you, screw
the drinking lid onto the cup. You can comfortably drink from the sealable drink-
ing opening.
If the blender is not in use or before it is disassembled, cleaned or stored, it always
has to be unplugged.

TIPS FOR PERFECT BLENDING
IN THE BLENDER CUP
• IMPORTANT: Never blend hot or warm contents in the blender cup.
Never blend carbonated liquids, as the gas cannot escape the closed
container.
• We recommend blending for a maximum of 1 minute. Please note the blend-
ing times given in the recipe book. The ingredients in the blender cup can warm
up and put pressure on the gaskets, making it difficult to reopen the cup resp.
making the contents splash out. Let the mixture cool down first if it has warmed
up and be careful when opening the cup.
• Always blend ingredients combined with liquids. Should the ingredients not cir-
culate in the cup, add a little more liquid to the cup.
• Should the mixture not be blended evenly, use less ingredients or process smaller
portions per go.
• Only blend as long as necessary – generally, do not blend too long.
• Use the PULSE function when processing foods with a solid consistency.
• Never exceed the MAX marking in the blender cups (500 ml resp. 700 ml).
• You can process a maximum of 4 ice cubes (classic size ice cubes from a stan-
dard ice cube tray) in the blender cup. This also applies to frozen fruit. Cut the
fruit into cubes which correspond to the size of ice cubes before freezing them.
• Should you notice any moisture or liquid on the upper part of the motor base
during blending, immediately turn the blender cup to the OFF position (both
arrows line up) and pull the power plug. Wait for the blades to come to a full
stop. Unscrew the blender cup and check if the blase base was correctly screwed
on. Immediately wipe the motor base dry with a dry towel or paper towel.

GRINDING WITH THE
GRINDING CONTAINER
1. Fill the open stainless steel grinding container with dry foods like seeds, nuts etc.
In any case, pay attention to the MAX marking in the container and do not over-
fill it!
2. Screw the blade base back onto the grinding container by giving it a quarter turn
in a clockwise direction. The blade base must be screwed on all the way to pre-
vent the contents from escaping.
Caution: The blender will only blend if the motor base has been correctly
screwed onto the grinding container. This will unlock the safety switch.
3. Place the grinding container in the motor base with the blade base facing
downwards. The arrow on the blade base should line up with the arrow on the
motor base.
4. Plug the power plug into a suitable power socket.
5. Turn the grinding container with the blade base in a clockwise direction to the
LIQUIFY position and blend for a maximum of 30 seconds resp. even shorter, until
the desired consistency has been reached. Then, turn the grinding container with
the blade base in a counter-clockwise direction until both arrows are lined up
again (OFF position). The motor stops. If you want to keep grinding, you have
to allow the motor to cool down for 30 seconds in any case. The stainless steel
grinding container needs the same amount of time to cool down. Caution: Blend
for a maximum of 30 seconds, then let the motor cool down for 30 seconds.
6. You can grind continually (position LIQUIFY) or use the PULSE function. To do
that, repeatedly turn the grinding container to the LIQUIFY position and back to
the OFF position (both arrows line up). Repeat this multiple times and the
motor is switched on and off at short intervals.
7. Once the grinding process has been finished, turn the grinding container to the
OFF position. Wait a few seconds for the blades and the motor to come to a full
stop and pull the power plug. If the grinding container has heated up, touch the
blade base instead of the grinding container to unscrew it. Remove the grind-
ing container from the motor base, turn the container upside down and unscrew
the blade base from the container in a counter-clockwise direction. Caution: The
grinding container might have heated up in the grinding process.
If the blender is not in use or before it is disassembled, cleaned or stored, it always
has to be unplugged.

When grinding with the stainless steel grinding container, please note:
• To evenly grind the foods, we recommend only filling the grinding container to
a third resp. half of its volume.
• When grinding nuts, they must only be ground until they are powdery. You can
not make nut butter resp. paste with the grinding function!
• Only grind dry foods in the grinding container, do not add any liquids.
• Very hard foods like dried corn or star aniseed can not be ground in the grind-
ing container.

OVERLOAD PROTECTION
WARNUNG: To protect the motor, please refrain from using the
appliance any longer once the automatic overload protection has
been triggered.
In this case, switch the appliance off (OFF position), pull the power plug and
remove the grinding container or blender cup. Wait for 30 minutes to allow the
motor to cool down. During this time, do not reinsert the grinding container/blen-
der cup into the motor base, as the appliance might suddenly start when the over-
load protection is reset. After that, plug the power plug back into the power socket
and switch the appliance back on.
If the motor has cooled down enough, your appliance will restart and you can keep
using the blender as described in this manual.
The motor can overload if the blender cup/grinding container has been too hea-
vily filled or if it has blended for too long. In this case, reduce the amount of ingre-
dients or repeatedly pause during blending to allow the motor to cool down in
order to prevent overheating.
Complying to the MAX marking reduces the risk of overloading the motor.
However, especially hard foods might still cause an overload. If you notice the
motor stalling or running slowly, only blend for 10 seconds at a time or reduce
the amount of ingredients. Also, adding liquids might loosen up a tough mixture
(only applies to the blender cup).
Note: None of the amounts given in the recipe book belonging to this appliance
can overload the appliance.

CARE AND CLEANING
BLENDER CUP/GRINDING CONTAINER AND
LID RESP. BLADE BASE
For safety reasons, the power plug has to be pulled after every use. To prevent the
foods from surface drying to the blades, the blender cup/grinding container or the
lid, we recommend proceeding as follows immediately after every use:
• Rinse the blender cups/the grinding container, the lids and the blade base with
water to remove most food leftovers.
• Clean the blender cups/the grinding container, the lids and the blade base
in warm dishwater and with a bottle brush/a soft sponge. After that, rinse with
clear water and dry carefully.
Alternatively, you can pour a little bit of cold water into the blender cup, screw
on the blade base and either blend for 10 seconds with the motor base or shake
it by hand.
Caution: When blending to clean, never fill the blender cup with hot or warm
water. Pressure might develop in the cup. Never add dishwashing liquid to the
water when blending or shaking.
• Make sure to carefully rinse all detergent remains out of the container, the cups,
the lids resp. the blade base with clear water.
• Once the blender cup, lid and grinding container resp. the blade base are clean,
dry everything carefully.
• Note: The blender cup/the grinding container can be cleaned easiest right after
use.
CLEANING IN THE DISHWASHER
• The blender cups, the grinding container and the lids as well as the blade base
can be cleaned in the dishwasher in a standard rinsing setting. The parts should
always be washed in the top drawer of the dishwasher.
CLEANING THE MOTOR BASE
• Wipe the motor base clean with a slightly wet, soft towel and dry it afterwards.
Remove potential food remains from the power cord.

NOTE TO DETERGENTS
• Never use scouring or aggressive detergents or solutions to clean the motor base
or the blender cups/the grinding container with lids and blade base – they might
scratch the surface. Only use warm water with mild washing-up liquid and a soft
towel.
HOW TO REMOVE TOUGH STAINS AND SMELLS
• Odorous foods like garlic, caraway seeds/coriander or some kinds of vegetables
like carrots can leave a smell or stains on the blender cups or lids.
• To remove these, fill the blender cups up to the MAX marking with warm dish-
water and let it sit for a maximum of 5 minutes. After that, clean the blender
cups with a mild washing-up liquid and warm water. After that, carefully rinse
with clear water and dry. It is vital that they are stored with an open lid.
• Put the lids in warm dishwater for a maximum of 5 minutes. After that, clean
them with a mild detergent and warm water. After that, carefully rinse with clear
water and dry.
PLEASE NOTE WHEN USING LEMON JUICE
• The juice of citrus fruits can dull the blender cups and shorten their lifespan. We
recommend immediately cleaning the blender cups right after use in warm dish-
water, rinsing them carefully with clear water and then drying them right away.
Do not douse the blender cups!
STORAGE
• Store your Solis Power Blender To Go in an upright position. The blender cups
should be placed next to the motor base. Do not place anything on the appli-
ance. To allow free air circulation, the blender cups should be stored open and
without their lids or the blade base. Under no circumstances store the assem-
bled appliance with the blender cup in the LIQUIFY position, as this would imme-
diately start the motor once you plug in the power plug.

big. Put a smaller amount of food into the blender cup/grinding
container and, if necessary, repeat the process multiple times.
– The pieces were too large. Cut the food in smaller pieces. For best
results, cut the food in pieces not larger than 2 cm.

– Blend for shorter periods of time. For better control, use the PULSE
function.
Foods stick to

– The mixture might be too thick. Add a little liquid to the mixture
and/or try the PULSE function.

– The blender features a overload protection feature. If the motor is
