Things to know about freshly squeezed fruit juice:
• Not only does freshly squeezed fruit juice taste natural, fresh and delicious, most
of all it is healthy. Freshly squeezed juice contains a number of important and
healthy vitamins and minerals that are quickly absorbed into the bloodstream:
In a minimum of time, the body is supplied with vitamins and nutrients. Espe-
cially its high content of vitamin C makes the juice of citrus fruits a reliable
weapon against coughs, sneezes and the flu.
• To preserve the vitamins as best as possible for the body, the juice should be drunk
immediately after squeezing it to prevent the precious vitamins from being lost.
Things to know about the proper fruit and how to store it:
• Only use fresh fruit for juicing.
• Select fruits with firm, smooth skin without any spoiled parts.
• The orange variety „Valencia“ is especially suited to squeezing.
• Mid-sized grapefruit, oranges, lemons and limes are especially easy to juice.
• Citrus fruits can be stored in a dry environment at room temperature. If you want
to keep the fruits fresh for longer periods of time, storing them in the fridge is
recommended.
