CLEANING THE FILTERS,

PORTAFILTER AND GROUP HEAD

Periodically run water through the machine with portaﬁlter in place, but

without any ground coffee, to rinse out any residual coffee particles.

Should the ﬁne holes in the ﬁlters become blocked, you have to clean the

ﬁlter baskets.

Proceed as follows:

Knock the grinds out of the ﬁlter and portaﬁlter.

➋

Rinse the ﬁlter basket under warm, running water.

➌

Place ﬁlter basket into portaﬁlter.

➍

Insert and lock the portaﬁlter into the group head and run hot water through the

machine without any coffee grounds by pressing the button 1 Cup

or 2 Cups

To clean the Single Wall Filters insert them individually into the portaﬁlter, insert

and lock the portaﬁlter in group head and hold down the 1 Cup-button

con-

tinuously – the hot water runs through.

Use the ﬁne pin on the tip of the cleaning tool to pierce through and clean the

ﬁne holes in the ﬁlter basket.

CLEANING THE OUTER HOUSING AND CUP WARMING PLATE

Before cleaning the outer housing, the appliance should be switched off

and unplugged.

The outer housing and cup warming plate can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.

Then polish with a soft, dry cloth.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, pads or cloths which can scratch the surface.

While making coffee, the machine (pump) stopped. It sounded like decompression, pffff......
After a few hours, the pump still did not start up after starting the machine. What can be wrong? Submitted on 26-8-2022 at 11:12
