REINIGING VAN HET STOOMPIJPJE

Het stoompijpje moet gereinigd worden na elk keer melk opschuimen.
Ga als volgt te werk:
1. Richt het stoompijpje boven de lekbak en draai de stoomhendel in de stand
OPEN. Verwijder eventuele melkresten in de stoompijp door er wat stoom door
te laten lopen.
Draai de stoomhendel in de stand CLOSED. Schakel de machine uit met de
POWER-toets en laat het apparaat afkoelen.
2. Maak het stoompijpje aan de buitenkant schoon met een vochtige doek.
3. Als het stoompijpje verstopt is, steekt u de stift van het reinigingsinstrument in de
opening van het mondstuk.
4. Als het stoompijpje verstopt blijft, kunt u het uiteinde van het pijpje met de moer-
sleutel in het midden van het reinigingsgereedschap losdraaien.
5. Leg het uiteinde in een glas met heet water en probeer vervolgens de verstopping
opnieuw te verwijderen met de stift van het reinigingsgereedschap.
Draai het uiteinde weer op het stoompijpje en zet het vast met de moersleu-
telhraubenschlüssel.
REINIGINGSCYCLUS UITVOEREN
Bij regelmatig gebruik worden koffieresten en olie afgezet in het apparaat die het
brouwproces kunnen beïnvloeden. Daarom moet u na 200 espresso's een reini-
gingscylus uitvoeren, ofwel, telkens nadat de melding "CLEAN ME!" op het display
verschijnt.
Ga als volgt te werk:
– Leeg de lekbak en plaats hem terug in het apparaat. Vul het waterreservoir tot
aan de MAX-markering.
1. Plaats de rubberen afdichting in het filterelement (voor één of twee kopjes) en het
filterelement in de filterhouder.
2. Doe een SOLITABS-reinigingstablet (zonder spons) in het filterelement, op de
rubberen afdichting.
3. Draai en bevestig de filterhouder in de brouwkop.
4. Druk net zo vaak op de toets MENU tot de tekst CLEAN CYCLE knippert en PUSH
op het display wordt weergegeven.
5. Om de reinigingscyclus te starten, drukt u op de toets MANUAL.
6. De tekst CLEAN CYCLE knippert en op het display verschijnt een aftelling van
370 seconden.
7. Zodra de aftelling de 0 bereikt, schakelt u het apparaat met de POWER-knop
uit, verwijdert u de filterhouder en controleert u of de SOLITABS-tablet volledig is
opgelost. Als dit niet het geval is, herhaalt u de stappen 3 tot 6 totdat de tablet
volledig is opgelost. Als de SOLITABS-tablet is opgelost, spoelt u de filterhouder
en het filterelement met warm water.
– Ervaart u problemen bij het bereiden van espresso lees dan de suggesties in het
hoofdstuk "Problemen oplossen".
– De probleemoplossing vindt u op pagina 50–53.
