TIPS FOR PERFECT BLENDING
• Should the volume be under the MAX marking during operation, the measur-
ing cap in the lid can be removed so that oil or other liquids can be added.
• Be careful when blending large amounts or liquids – the mixture might spill out
through the measuring cap opening in the lid of the jug!
• When using the citrus juicer, please note: If the arrow on the citrus juicer points
to „JUICE“, the freshly squeezed juice will run directly into the blender jug. If you
wish to blend right afterwards, turn the citrus juicer so that the arrow points to
„BLEND“: Only by this is the blender jug closed and the contents are kept from
spilling out of the blender jug!
• The blender should only be used until foods or mixing program are ready and
form the perfect final product. Do not blend foods longer than necessary!
• Use the PULSE button if the foods are too thick or coarse to properly circulate
in the blender jug.
• Never exceed the MAX marking when filling the blender jug with foods and liq-
uids.
• Ingredients might stick the side of the jug. To move the foods back towards the
blades, turn the blender off and pull the plug. Wait for the blades to come to a
full stop. Remove the lid. Push the foods downwards with a plastic spatula, push-
ing from the side of the jug towards the blades. After that, firmly place the lid
back on the jug, connect the plug, activate the appliance and continue blend-
ing.
• Should you notice any moisture or liquid on the upper part of the motor base
during blending, immediately switch the appliance off with the ON| OFF button
and pull the plug. Wait for the blades to come to a full stop. Lift the blender jug
off and immediately wipe the motor base dry with a dry cloth or kitchen towel.
• You can stop the blending process at any time, even in the SMOOTHIE program,
by pressing the CANCEL button.
• After the blender has been blending for 120 seconds in manual mode (or
60 seconds in the SMOOTHIE program), it will automatically switch off.
This is due to a security mechanism protecting the motor.
• Speed and program setting can be adjusted during the mixing process. Simply
press another program button and the blender will immediately switch to the
new program resp. the new speed.
• Use the SMOOTHIE function to turn fruit, ice cream and yoghurts into thick
smoothies, cremes or milkshakes.
