TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM
When the machine is switched on,
the steam / hot water light is flashing
Coffee does not run through
Coffee runs out too quickly
Coffee is too cold
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Steam / hot water dial is not in «STANDBY»
position
Machine is not turned on or plugged in
Water tank is empty
Coffee grind is too fine
Too much coffee in the filter
Coffee tamped too firmlyt
The filter is blocked
The coffee grind is too coarse
Not enough ground coffee in the filter
Ground coffee not tamped firmly enough
Cups not preheated
Milk not heated enough (if making a
cappuccino or latté)
WHAT TO DO
Turn the steam / hot water dial to «STANDBY»
position. Machine will commence normal heat up
procedure.
Ensure the machine is plugged in, switched on
at the power outlet and the POWER button is
pressed to «ON».
Refer to «Filling the Water Tank», page 150.
Ensure you use a suitable espresso grind. Refer to
«Setting the Right Grind» on page 152.
Refer to «Adjusting the Grind Amount», page 152.
Refer to «Tamping the Ground Coffee», page 153.
Clean the filters. Refer to «Cleaning the Filters»,
page 170.
Ensure you use a suitable espresso grind.

  • Suddenly, the machine doesn't stop percolating anymore and goes far beyond 30 or 60 ml. The programming options seem disfunctional and don't react properly to my efforts to redefine or reset the percolation amounts. Please, how can this be solved? Thanks. Submitted on 11-7-2020 at 12:22
