10 SAFETY SYSTEM
Do not place the appliance on top of the power cord when the appliance is
hot. Do not operate the appliance with the cable wound up.
Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
Do not use the appliance near a bath, shower or swimming pool or any
other water container. If the fan heater falls into water, DO NOT try to take
it out. Unplug it from the mains.
Do not use the fan heater to dry clothes, do not leave furniture closer
than 50 cm in front of the appliance, and do not use it in rooms with less
than 4m
2
of floor space.
Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
This appliance must not be used by disabled persons and children, or
those who are not experienced in the use of the appliance, except when
they are guided or supervised by someone who knows the safety
instructions that must be followed to operate the appliance.
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-
out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching
device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off by the utility.

IMPORTANT!! When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER
throw it in the rubbish bin. Take it to your nearest CLEAN POINT or
the waste collection centre closest to your home for processing. You
will thus be helping to take care of the environment.
2 SAFETY SYSTEM
The appliance is equipped with an OVERHEATING DISCONNECTION
system. If a problem occurs, this system automatically switches off the
appliance. If this happens, proceed as follows:
1 Unplug the appliance from the mains.
2 Allow it to cool for 15 minutes.
3 Ensure that there is no dust or other obstacles that obstruct the air flow.
4 Clean the grills, using a vacuum cleaner if necessary.
If the appliance still fails to work as normal, please contact the Technical
Service Centre.
