ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
• Sollevare il coperchio (1) e versare l’acqua nel deposito (2). La quantità
d’acqua necessaria dipende dal numero di tazze che si desidera ottenere.
• Posizionare il portafiltro (3) nella macchina per il caffè accertandosi che la
linguetta sia correttamente inserita nel lato destro (fig. 1). Posizionare quin-
di il filtro permanente (4) oppure un filtro di carta e mettere il caffè maci-
nato nel filtro (4). Dose consigliata: 1 cucchiaino dosatore per tazza.
• Richiudere il coperchio.
• NOTA: prima di preparare il caffè, preriscaldare la caraffa termica lavandone
l’interno con acqua calda. In questo modo il caffè rimarrà caldo più a lungo.
Perché il caffè rimanga caldo più a lungo, preparare almeno mezza caraffa
di caffè.
• Per rimuovere il coperchio della caraffa, farlo ruotare verso destra fino a
quando si trova in corrispondenza della freccia della caraffa con scritto OPEN
(fig. 2). Successivamente, sollevarlo.
• Per riporre il coperchio, farlo coincidere con la freccia del coperchio con la
parola OPEN, quindi farlo ruotare verso destra fino a farlo coincidere con la
parola CLOSE (fig. 3).
• Verificare che il coperchio della caraffa sia posizionato correttamente, quin-
di porre la caraffa (6) sulla piastra (8) come indicato nella figura 4.
• Collegare la macchina per il caffè alla rete.
• Portare l’interruttore (7) in posizione di accensione (I). La spia luminosa si
accende.
• Durante la fase di uscita del caffè, è possibile rimuovere la caraffa, poiché il
sistema di antigocciolamento automatico ne impedisce il gocciolamento.
Fare attenzione se si rimuove la caraffa dopo parecchio tempo dato che
l’acqua può fuoriuscire dal portafiltro.
• Se, al termine, si nota che il caffè è fuoriuscito dal portafiltro, si consiglia di
utilizzare una minor quantità di caffè la volta successiva.
• Per servire il caffè non è necessario rimuovere il coperchio della caraffa
termica, è sufficiente esercitare pressione sulla linguetta del coperchio per-
ché si sollevi (fig. 5). Dopo aver servito il caffè lasciar andare la linguetta, in
questo modo il caffè rimane caldo nella caraffa termica (6).
• Se non si consuma tutto il caffè, è possibile mettere la caraffa sulla piastra
(8), con la macchina per il caffè accesa o spenta, perché la caraffa termica
mantenga il caffè caldo.
