• Do not place or operate the appliance and its

power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove

plates) or open ames.

• Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp

edges and keep away from hot objects and a-

mes. Do not wind the cord around the appliance

and do not bend it.

• Neither immerse the housing, which contains

electrical components and the heating elements

in water, nor rinse it under the tap.
