Colocar el manguito
1.
Coloque el manguito en el ante-
brazo, gire la manguera de forma
lateral hacia la parte interior del
brazo, en línea con el meñique.
También puede orientar la marca
de las arterias de forma que quede
por encima de la arteria principal
(en la parte interior del brazo).
Encontrará la arteria principal pre-
sionando con 2 dedos aproxima-
damente a 2 cm por encima de la
parte interior del codo de su brazo
izquierdo.
Encuentre dónde se puede sentir
el pulso con más fuerza. Aquí está
la arteria principal

2. El manguito debe quedar ajus-
tado, pero no tenso. Debe caber
un dedo entre el manguito y el
brazo.

3. Siéntese cómodo y coloque el bra-
zo sobre el que vaya a realizar la
medición sobre una superficie lisa.
Siéntese cómodo antes de iniciar
la medición: no cruce las piernas y
mantenga las suelas de los pies, la
espalda y el brazo apoyados.
4. En el caso de usuarios con
hipertensión:
El centro del manguito debe
quedar a la altura de la aurícula
derecha

Iniciar la medición
1. Si el aparato de medición de la
presión arterial está apagado,
enciéndalo pulsando el botón
(
). El aparato realizará enton-
ces la medición.
• Primero el aparato se pondrá a
cero.
• Después el manguito comenzará
a inflarse y el aparato medirá la
presión arterial y el pulso.
Puede detener la medición pulsando el botón
( ) en cualquier momento.
• Cuando haya concluido la medición,
se purgará el aire del brazalete y
se indicarán los valores medidos.
Dichos valores se clasificarán y alma-
cenarán en el usuario seleccionado.
Se indicarán alternativamente la
fecha y la hora.
2. Pulse el botón (
) para apagar
el aparato. El aparato también se
apaga automáticamente cuando
transcurre 1 minuto.
