2. Käytön aloittaminen
2.1 Käynnistys
2.1.1 Laita toimiva GSM-puhelimen SIM-kortti laitteen vasemmalla puolella
olevaan SIM-korttipaikkaan. Käytä laitteen mukana tulevaa työkalua painaaksesi
SIM-kortin pohjaan asti.
2.1.2 Sijoita SPT220 avoimelle paikalle. Paina virtakytkin alas ja pidä sitä alhaalla 2
sekunnin ajan käynnistääksesi laitteen.
2.1.3 Laitteen tulisi saada yhteys GSM-verkkoon noin 30 sekunnin kuluessa. Kun
laite on saanut yhteyden GSM-verkkoon, GSM-merkkivalo välkkyy kirkkaana kerran
sekunnissa. Kun laite ei ole vielä löytänyt GSM-verkkoa, merkkivalo välkähtää
himmeänä kerran sekunnissa.
2.1.4 Samalla kun laite etsii GSM-verkkoa se yrittää saada myös GPS-yhteyden.
Kun laite ei ole vielä löytänyt GPS-yhteyttä, GPS-merkkivalo välkähtää kerran
sekunnissa. Kun laite on saanut yhteyden GPS-signaaliin, GPS-merkkivalo syttyy
palamaan pysyvästi.
2.1.5 Kun sekä GPS- että GSM-yhteys on saatu, laite on valmis paikannuskäyttöön.
2.2 Käyttö
2.2.1 Sallittujen käyttäjien määritteleminen
Sallitut käyttäjät kannattaa määritellä heti ostettuasi SPT220:n.
Laitetta voidaan toki käyttää, vaikka sallittuja käyttäjiä ei olisi määritelty.
Tee näin: Laita SIM-kortti kännykkään ja määrittele neljä puhelinnumeroa
yhteystiedoiksi osoitekirjaan. Tallenna nämä numerot SIM-kortin muistiin (ei
kännykän omaan muistiin). Jos tallennettuja yhteystietoja on enemmän kuin neljä,
SPT220 tulkitsee neljä ensimmäistä puhelinnumeroa sallituiksi käyttäjiksi.
