Start up
Unlock the battery compartment cover and remove. Insert 2 x AAA long life
batteries or 2 x AAA rechargeable batteries and replace the cover.
Your Shotsaver S210 comes preloaded with over 5000 courses and is ready to
use straight out of the box.
Power up your S210 by pressing and holding the power button. A sample
list of courses will be displayed until the unit picks up satellite connection.
Once GPS connectivity has been obtained the three courses nearest your
current location will be displayed in order of proximity. If GPS connection is
not obtained, for instance if you have powered up the unit indoors, only the
sample courses will be displayed.
Selecting a course
Your S210 has been programmed to automatically display a list of courses in
order of proximity to your current position using GPS. When you arrive at the
golf course you are going to be playing at, power up your unit and wait until
the unit connects to satellites and obtains a GPS signal. After a few moments,
a GPS connection will be made and the course you are at will be displayed
automatically. Using the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons, highlight your chosen
course and press the ‘Select’ button. You are ready to play!
The next time you power up the unit and it has connected to satellites, it will
automatically display a list of the courses nearest to you as well as the last
course you selected.
