6. USING THE MACHINE FOR DRYING PURPOSES
6.1 GENERAL INFORMATION
During drying cycles it is essential that the water tap is open and that the drain hose is correctly
positioned.
With this machine it is possible to set wash-only programmes, dry-only programmes and wash-dry programmes.
For the latter programmes, the cycle shifts automatically from washing to drying without the controls being
touched and the cycle continues after washing.
Warnings
Only dry linen or garments washed in a water-based solution and suitable for tumble drying.
The quantity of washing that can be introduced into the washer dryer for drying must not exceed
2.5kg. This washer dryer has been built to offer maximum performance with dry loads weighing not more
than 2.5 kg.
When intensive washing programmes are set, drying is automatically performed at 90°C (normal drying).
For delicate programmes, drying is automatically performed at 60°C (delicate drying). Therefore, for an
automatic washing programme plus drying, the drying programme is dictated by the washing programme
selected.
In order to carry out a dry-only programme, the linen must already have been washed and spun.
After drying particularly soft linen, e.g. new towelling underwear, it is advisable to carry out the “Rinse”
programme in order to ensure that any small fabric deposits are drained away and are not deposited on
the linen in the next wash load.
Important do not dry delicate fabrics that cannot withstand temperatures of 60°C or in any case fabrics that
cannot withstand the selected temperatures.

6.1.2 EXTRA DRYING
If the washing is still too wet when the programme finishes, set a short timed drying cycle.
Caution! Do not dry garments too much as they may crease or shrink.
6.2 AUTOMATIC DRYING
During the drying cycle, the sensor senses the residual humidity. The length of drying time is adjusted according
to the weight and type of washing. During the drying cycle the display shows the variations in the length of drying
time. With automatic drying it is possible to select 2 levels of residual humidity at the end of drying.
Aut1 Normal dry – suitable for thinner and normal fabrics.
Weight: 1.5 – 2.5kg
Aut2 Extra dry – suitable for thicker, heaver fabrics.
Weight: 1.5 – 2.5kg
