9.1 Traditionele bereidingen

Dit klassieke kooksysteem, waarbij de hitte van boven en van onderen
komt, is geschikt voor het bakken van voedsel op een enkel niveau. U
moet de oven voorverwarmen tot de ingestelde temperatuur is bereikt.
Plaats het gerecht pas in de oven nadat het controlelampje van de
thermostaat is uitgegaan. Bijzonder vet vlees moet in de nog koude oven
worden gezet. Diepvriesvlees kunt u rechtstreeks, zonder vooraf
ontdooien, in de oven zetten. Als enige voorzorgsmaatregel moet u
ongeveer 20°C lagere temperaturen instellen en kooktijden van
ongeveer een 1/4 langer ten opzichte van die voor vers vlees gebruiken.
Gebruik recipiënten met een hoge rand om te
voorkomen dat spatten de wanden van de oven
bevuilen.
