Draadloos verbinding maken gaat als volgt :
----in geval van de sitecom wireless utility-----
1. Dubbelklik op het pictogram van de Wireless LAN Utility
(de blauwe balkjes of het rode uitroepteken onderin de taakbalk.)
2. Ga naar Profile Settings, klik op uw profiel, en druk op Edit
3. Druk 2x op Next, en zet een vinkje bij Security bij Enabled
4. Zet 'authentication mode' op het soort encryptie dat u in de router heeft bepaald
5. Vul uw sleutel in in het vakje 'networkkey', en druk op 3x op Next.
6. Druk op Finish, en op Connect
----in geval van de windows configuratie utility----
1. Klik met de rechtermuisknop op het icoontje van de draadloze verbinding, onderin uw
taakbalk
2. Kies voor de optie 'Beschikbare draadloze netwerken'
3. Verbreek de verbinding, en maak opnieuw verbinding met het netwerk.
4. Vul bij 'Netwerksleutel' uw beveiligings in
5. Herhaal deze code
Als u deze stappen volgt, dan heeft u een beveiligde draadloze verbinding.
9 Nu alles klaar is kunnen wij het IP adres weer op automatisch zetten:
Windows 2000/XP
Ga naar :
Configuratiescherm -> (Netwerk en internet ->) Netwerkverbindingen.
Selecteer hier met de rechterknop uw LAN-verbinding (of Local Area Connection)
en kies voor Eigenschappen.
Dubbelklik hier op Internet Protocol (tcp/ip).
Selecteer hier Automatisch een IP adres laten toekennen en Automatisch een DNS
laten toekennen.
