Overlocksteek met koord
De overlocksteek met koord kan worden gebruikt om steken te
verstevigen bij het aan elkaar naaien van elastische stoffen zoals
breisels. Het meenaaien van een koord zorgt ervoor dat breisels
niet rekken en stabiliseert de naden.
1. Haal het koord door het gat aan de voorkant van de voet.
2. Leg het koord onder de naaivoet naar de achterkant van de
machine en naai de naad in het kledingstuk.
3. Het koord wordt in de steek bevestigd terwijl de naad wordt
genaaid.
Rimpelen met het differentieel
transport
Het differentieel transport kan worden gebruikt om dunne stoffen
te rimpelen. Gebruik het voor mouwen, het maken van ruches en
meer.
Stel het differentieel transport in tussen 1.5 en 2 om het beste
rimpeleffect voor uw project te verkrijgen. Probeer het altijd eerst
uit op een proeflapje van uw stof. Zie Differentieel transport
afstellen, pagina 12, om te leren hoe u het differentieel transport
kunt aanpassen.
