Center zipper insertion
Begin installation of zipper with
standard presser foot (A).
Baste zipper and garment body.
Sew left part of zipper on seam
allowance from bottom of opening
to top.
Reinforce bottom end of opening with
reverse stitches.
Then, sew right part of zipper on seam
allowance from bottom to top of opening
at position that is 0.7 to 1 cm away from
seamline.
Remove basted stitches only.
This stitch pattern represents zipper inserting method that is used for center front
or center back of garments, bags, cushions and various kinds of covers.
