Un punto decorativo ideale per maniche e colletti di abiti
femminili e per bambini. Il punto serve anche per dare una
forma al bordo. Se utilizzate il punto per questo ultimo
scopo, prima cucite il punto, quindi rilate il bordo del tessuto
seguendo da vicino il punto. Fate attenzione a non tagliare il
lo del punto.
Punto semicerchio su nastro di rinforzo
Utilizzate un nastro di rinforzo e ripiegatelo sul bordo. Cucite
su di esso una serie di motivi a semicerchio.
Punto freccia su risvolto
Oltre ad essere utilizzato come punto decorativo, questo
disegno può essere impiegato come travetta triangolare
per rinforzare i punti in cui sono più facili sfilacciature. E’
particolarmente indicato per cucire entrambi i bordi delle tasche.
Punto “sunrise” su orlo stretto
Ripiegate il bordo del tessuto e utilizzate questo punto per
abbellirlo.
Scacchi su un nastro di guarnizione
Utilizzate un nastro e ripiegate il bordo. Cucitevi sopra il punto
scacchi.
Domino su nastro
Usate un nastro piegando indietro il bordo. Cucire il punto
domino sopra quest’ultimo.
Diamante su orlo stretto
Piegate sopra il bordo del tessuto e usate questo punto per
rinire il bordo.
I punti festone e diamante possono essere combinati per
creare altri motivi originali.
