This foot delivers a consistent and accurate
overcasting stitch for a serged effect using
your sewing machine. Thread is locked
around the edge of fabric, aligned with the
edge, to prevent fabric from raveling.

Sewing Instructions
Press fabric against the guide plate of the
overcasting foot so that needle falls near the
edge of seam.
a. No.03 (Width=5.0) is used for preventing
ravelling of fabrics.
b-c. No. 10 and 14 can sew overcasting and regular
stitches at the same time. Therefore it is
convenient for sewing fabrics that ravel easily
and also for sewing stretchy fabrics.
Caution: To prevent accidents,
Overcasting foot should be used
for sewing patterns 03, 10 and 14
only. Do not change the stitch width
narrower than 5.0 and do not change
the stitch mode or lengthen the stitch.
Doing so may cause the needle to hit
the presser foot and break.

Instructions de Couture
Pressez le bord du tissu tout contre la plaque de guidage du
pied de point surjet de façon à ce que l’aiguille pique tout près
du bord du tissu.
a. Le point n°03 (largeur : 5,0) est utilisé pour empêcher les
tissus de s’elocher.
b-c. Avec les points n°10 et 14, vous pouvez coudre des points
de surjet et des points ordinaires en une seule opération.
Ces pointssont donc pratiques pour la couture de tissus
qui s’elochent facilement et les matièresextensibles.
ATTENTION! Pour éviter des incidents :Le
pied de surjet ne doit être utilisé qu’avec
les motifs 03, 10 et 14 et la largeur du point
ne doit pas être inférieure à 5,0. Veillez à
ne pas changer le mode ni l’élongation du
point. L’aiguille pourrait alors piquer dans
le pied presseur et se casser pendant les
travaux de couture ultérieurs.
