If
the Carriage jams while
knitting,
follow
the
instructions below, and do
not
move
it
by
force.
(
1)
Remove the yarn
from
the Yarn Feeder.
(2)
Push
the
Release
Lever towards the arrowed
direction (towards right), then the top
of
the
Carriage
will
be
lifted.
(3) With the
top
of
the Carriage
lifted
by holding
the Handle, move the Carriage
until
it
passes
the
knitting
needles.
Place
the handle downward
so
as
the
top
of
the Carriage
is
backed
to
its
original position.
* When
knitting
with
the New Magic
Cams
instal-
led, remove the New Magic
Cams
firstly,
then
move the Carriage.
*
For
those stitches behind the latches, bring
them back
to
the hooks by using the Transfer
Tool.
Push
the Needles
to
B position.
*
If
yarn
is
entangled
with
the Yarn Feeder or
Arm,
loosen the
Arm
Nuts and remove the Arm.
Push
the
Release
Lever and move the Carriage.
(
1)
Attach
Weights at intervals on the garment
so
it
will
hang
firmly.
Holding the garment down-
ward
with
the
left
hand, pull the yarn parallel
with
the
Knitter
for
a
tight
row, then pull in
an
upward and backward
motion
to
open the
latches. Repeat this procedure
for
each
row
unraveled.
Push
needles back
to
B position
firmly
when
unravel I ing
to
prevent dropped stitches.
(2)
If
the Carriage
is
on the opposite side
of
the
yarn after ripping
out
the rows, set the controls
as
follows:
Row Counter Lever ............

Change Dial ......................

Push
the
Release
Lever and move the Carriage
to
the side
of
the yarn by
lifting
up the top
of
the Carriage. (The needles
will
be
in C posi-
tion
.)
(3)
Turn
back the Row Counter and the
Knit
Con-
tour
the number
of
rows ripped and
co
ntinue
to
knit.
