(1)
After
knitting
the pieces
of
your
garments,
you
must lay them
flat
and pin them
out
to
their
correct shape and size. Then
press
them I
ightly
with
a warm iron over a damp
cloth
and leave
the pieces
to
dry
before removing the pins.

(Joining pieces)
( 1) Join the right shoulder
as
follows.
a)
Pick up the stitches
of
the
right
shoulder
of
the back
with
its right side facing
you
and
place them
onto
the needles in B position.
b)
Pick up the stitches
of
the right shoulder
of
the
front
with
its wrong side facing
you
and
place them
onto
the needles
holding
the
back shoulder.
c)
Knit
one
row
with
the main yarn setting the
Stitch
Dial at
8-9
and cast
off
using
the
Tappet
or
Linker. (Refer
to
page
28.)
(2)
Join
the neckband
to
the neck
edge
as
fol-
lows.
a)
Place
the
stitches on the neck
edge
evenly
with
the
right side facing
you,
onto
the
needl
es.
b)
Hold
the neck band
with
its Ribber side
(wrong side) facing you and place the stitches
on the last
row
of
the main
knitting
onto
the
needles.
c)
Knit
one
row
with
the main yarn setting the
Stitch
Dial at
8-9
and cast
off
using the
Tappet
or
Linker. (Refer
to
page
28.)
