Turn on or turn off each of the following settings by tapping them and
then tapping the On/Off button at the bottom of the screen:
- Delivery path report
-Reply path
-Save sent messages
-Save sent messages
View Memory Status
To view how much memory you have used on the phone and on your
SIM card, do the following:
1. Tap the‘Messaging’menu.
2. Tap the>> (Forward) button.
3. Tap the ‘SMS Settings’ option in the top right corner of the screen.
4. Tap the ‘Multimedia message’ tab
5. In the menu that appears, tap the ‘Common settings’ option.
6. In the menu that appears, tap the ‘Memory status’ option on the 5
th
row.
7. Tap the ‘Phone’ the screen will refresh and display the percent of your
phone memory that is currently being used.
8. Tap the ‘Memory card’ the screen will refresh and display the percent of
your memory card that is currently being used.
9. Click the Back button to exit the screen.
Select a Preferred Storage Location
To designate a preference of where to store your SMS data, do
the following:
1. Tap the SMS menu.
2. Tap the>> (Forward) button.
3. Tap the SMS Settings option in the top right corner of the screen.
4. Tap the ‘Multimedia message’ tab
5. In the menu that appears, tap the ‘Common settings’ option.
6. In the menu that appears, tap the ‘Preferred storage’ option.
7. Tap either the SIM or the Phone radio button to designate where
SMS data should be stored.
6. Click the OK button to save your choice.
