Assegure-se que a tomada elétrica está próxima e que é de fácil acesso para ser
possível desligar o transformador de corrente rapidamente em caso de
emergência. De outro modo, pode dar-se um curto-circuito ou ocorrer um
incêndio.
O transformador de corrente da estação de carregamento consome energia
mesmo se o “walkie-talkie” PMR não estiver nela colocado. Recomenda-se,
portanto, que desligue o transformador de corrente da tomada elétrica para o
separar completamente da rede elétrica e assim evitar consumir energia
desnecessariamente.
8.2.2. Carregar as pilhas
Carregue completamente as pilhas de ambos os “walkie-talkies” PMR antes de
os utilizar pela primeira vez. O carregamento demora aproximadamente de 8 a
10 horas.
Coloque os “walkie-talkies” PMR na estação de
carregamento, como se mostra ao lado.
O indicador de carregamento [28] localizado na parte de
cima da estação de carregamento acende-se quando o
“walkie-talkie” PMR estiver devidamente inserido e as pilhas
estiverem a ser carregadas. O carregamento demora
aproximadamente de 8 a 10 horas. O indicador de
carregamento [28] continua aceso mesmo depois das pilhas
estarem completamente carregadas.

Também é possível carregar o “walkie-talkie” PMR sem a estação de
carregamento. Para tal, insira a ficha do transformador de corrente no encaixe
do transformador de corrente [2] do “walkie-talkie” PMR. Antes de tudo, abra a
cobertura de borracha que protege o encaixe do transformador de corrente [2].
Os “walkie-talkies” não podem ser utilizados enquanto estiverem a carregar.
