Fadenwechsel (zusammenbinden)
Nach der folgenden Vorgehensweise ist der Fadenwechsel ganz einfach:
1. Schneiden Sie das Garn über der Spulennadel 2 ab (Abb. 34) und
setzen Sie die neuen Garnrollen auf die Spulennadeln 2.
2. Knoten Sie die Enden von altem und neuem Faden zusammen
(Abb. 35).
3. Stellen Sie die Fadenspannungswähler r/t/z/u auf „0“
(Abb. 36) und heben Sie den Nähfuß a an.
4. Ziehen Sie am anderen Ende des Garns, bis die Knoten unter dem
Nähfuß a durchkommen.
5. Beim Einfädeln in die Nadeln ziehen Sie die anderen Enden, bis die
Knoten in den Nadelöhren sind und schneiden Sie das Garn links und
rechts der Knoten ab. Fädeln Sie dann neu ein.
Einstellen der Stichlänge
Die Stichlänge kann in Schritten von 1,0 bis 4,0 mm eingestellt werden.
Fast alle Overlock-Arbeiten werden mit einer Stichlänge von
2,5 – 3,5 mm ausgeführt.
Drehen Sie am Einstellrad für die Stichlänge 5 (Abb. 37) um die Stichlän-
ge einzustellen:
• Für die meisten Näharbeiten ist eine Stichlänge von 3 mm zu empfeh-
len.
• Für die Verarbeitung von schweren Stoffen ist eine Stichlänge von 4 mm
zu empfehlen.
• Für die Verarbeitung von leichten Stoffen ist eine Stichlänge von 2 mm
zu empfehlen.
Mit diesen Einstellungen erhalten Sie ordentliche Nähte und der Stoff wird
nicht gekräuselt.
Einstellen der Nahtbreite
Die Breite der Nähte kann durch Verändern der Nadelposition und mittels
des Nahtbreiteneinstellknopfes f bestimmt werden.

Die Breite der Naht lässt sich durch das Benutzen der linken
oder
der
rechten Nadel bestimmen.
• Nur die linke Nadel wird benutzt: 5,7 mm
• Nur die rechte Nadel wird benutzt: 3,5 mm
